My aunt has been giving the vaccinations to people at the hospital she works at. She said the single dose injections (pre-filled syringes) are the ones that have been purified to remove the thimerosol, the multidose vials (bottle of vaccine that you use to fill syringes as needed) are the ones with thimerosol.
The flu mist is the one they have you snort up your nose. You're probably wanting one from the pre-filled single dose injection. The flumist is the one you DO NOT want to take because it's live virus.
