Oh, these stupid comments really P me off!
My favorite was when I was out of town on a business trip and we had to do quite a bit of walking. It was a hot day and you would've thought that my two supervisors (who know I have MS) were trying to speed walk to see who could make it the fastest. When I finally dared to say that I couldn't keep up, could they please slow down, I was told that I was just out of shape and needed to walk more.  When I got over my shock and was done running through all the expletives I wanted to say in my head, I replied that no, I'm not out of shape, you know I have MS and am heat intolerant! |
