Can you be a little more descriptive? Is it like an ulcer? A hole in the toe?

I have one in my left big toe. I had it in April 2007, same place, and it took several months to clear up. I put an antibiotic on it daily and bandage it when I'm at work or out and soak my foot in epsom salts. This is what the foot doctor told me to do back in 2007. Also - no colored socks, especially black. The dye might leech into the ulcer.

I never considered it being due to MS but my April 2007 flare was by far my worst one to date (24.5 years with MS). It was the beginning of the permanent pain in both feet.

How did the neuro describe the relationship between the burst toe and MS? I've never heard of this.

Hope your sister is doing better.
