Hello Gloria...

I am two years post concussion. I am "extremely" sensitive to most, if not all noise. For example, I haven't watched t.v. or listen to a radio in two years. I can't be around the wash machine, dryer, phones ringing, the air conditioner running in the house, blinkers, the rain, water running, my dogs toe nails on the floor, dog barking, when there is mowing or weed eating anywhere in the neighborhood, I've got to get away from it. The wind blowing is painful. I wear ear plugs in and out of my house. They don't...by far solve the problem, but I find it easier to live in a muted state. I have severe 'tinnitus' 24 hours a day so I'm not sure if I wear the ear plugs to keep the noise in or out, but the noise is less painful.
