It seems to me that someone on here had read her book and was following her plan. I can't remember who it was but hopefully they'll come along and give you some tips, ideas, and let you know how they are doing.

Dr. Wahl's journey is pretty amazing. Good luck and let us know how you are doing with her protocol.

2 weeks and counting on the diet and one week with the at home Estim therapy.

I feel good on the diet, I already stopped eating 80% of the things she said to stop eating so it wasn't too hard to get started. I'm trying to find palatable chicken liver recipes that go with the diet, everything is deep fried or coated in flour.

The E-stim is the most surprising help so far. My physical therapist taught me how to do it, I bought a machine and an anatomy book and my hubby hooks me up to 2 hours a night. We work through different muscle groups abs and back one night, legs the next. I can not believe how improved all my muscle spasity is after just one week. I am sitting up straighter and have almost no pain in my back when I'm standing. Walking has slowly begun to get smoother and I'm looking forward to increased endurance.

I really would recommend anyone reading this to pick up a copy of the book. It reads very easy, is broken up into small 1 1/2 - 2 page sections so you don't have to digest a large amount of info all at once. She really did set it up for people with cognitive difficulties to follow.

I will keep you posted as I go through the process.
