I have had to face the fact that I will never get better (I'm Secondary Progressive). All I have left is the use of my right arm and leg. I've had to give up my beloved knitting, leaving me with boxes and boxes of yarn I always thought I'd get to someday. Well, now "next day" is here and I can't hold a knitting needle in my left hand.

If I sound like I'm feeling sorry for myself, I am! Every day is a struggle to get beyond that and appreciate - even be grateful for - what I still have and the life going on around me. I meditate a lot, and that does help, especially with my chronic pain.

I hope you can find a way of appreciating what you have right now, today. Your life is much more abundant than you realize.

Take care,

Arrietty
