Take care of yourself and get plenty of naps....They're golden...I love my naps. I just woke up from one, now.

Hi Sally
I've napped alot, except this weekend. All gathered next door at my sissies and baked cookies and potica for the holidays. I can't tell you how many sugar cookies I decorated today with icing and sprinkles. I'm so looking forward to munching on them. I handled "quality control" and must say the oatmeal chocolate chip (thank you betty crocker) turned out quite yummy, and the decorated sugar ones too. I don't do peanut blossoms or potica, but I've got b-i-l's who will handle QC on those.

No naps for me this weekend, but I'm going to try to get one in tomorrow before my sister takes me to Penneys after dinner. Since all my siblings will be together for xmas we are going to do a family portrait with our Dad. The girls have decided we will all wear black (very slimming, we hope) and Dad will wear red. No one has told our brother, yet what he's to wear. Going to see if anything we like is on sale. Look out bargains!

I go to another neuro this week. This time to follow up on sleep study and mild apnea which I refused to get a cpap machine for 5 years ago. I'll never get a man with that equipment. Oh and I've got a fasting blood draw that day too. I'm overwhelmed with appointments but want to get as much done before my medicare deductable starts over. I've even scheduled a mammo for xmas eve morning. I think that's enough for me.

Hi Beth~ Glad to see you got some much needed rest. WOW... you really got some serious baking done. I have one question; what's "potica"??

Is it a type of cookie??

You sure have alot on your plate B4 the end of the yr w/all those appts, so try and squeeze in a little nap when you can. Take care and good luck on your appts..

Hi DM
Unfortunately potica (po-teet-sa) is not a cookie. It is a Croation nut/raisin bread. I hate it, or at least the nuts/raisins, the bread part is tasty. Our Gram made it since we were little, and now my middle sister has picked up the gauntlet and taken on the task. She is the least likely to cook, but she does alright with potica.

I did have a nice 2-1/2 hr nap today. Yay! I cannot sleep at night since the doc said no narcotics. Upping the nortriptylin hasn't helped and I feel yucky.

Thanks for the luck, go see sleep neuro in the early morning. Hope the ice storm stays south of me.

We had the most beautiful blue sky and sunshine today. Almost felt like I was back in Colorado, except I couldn't see the Rocky Mtns when I looked west. Aw, nuts!

Apparently, the tail end of the ice storm is on it's way and will be with us Thursday. Good thing I was running around in Daddy's caddy today.

Now for the whine ... someone pour me a glass please

Sleep neuro says repeat sleep study since your fat. So Monday night I get to go to the hotel and have wires attached to my head, and professionals will watch me sleep, and count how many times I stop breathing and other such nonsense.

Good thing the MS is behaving. Fingers crossed!
