I spazzed up so hard I couldn't even scream, just an open mouthed "Silent Scream" thing..LOL. The only good thing was the table beside me that I fell on, trying to unbend before I went through the ceiling. Repeat that about twenty times with different muscles and then tell me to try to do all of those exercises in sets of three, twice a day until next week.

Funny Lady!

She puts me on the bike to do all over exercise of my legs. When I told her I couldn't feel resistance at the 5.0 setting on that bike, she cranked it up to 10.0. It was all uphill from there for TEN MINUTES! I jello'd off the seat and held on all the way to where my coat was hanging. It took me twenty minutes to be able to drive away.

I can already tell we are going to have fun. I am willing to give this the best I can to see just how far one can come back with the help of Tysabri. I want to be working back at my old job by spring!!!!

It better work. It already hurts.
Oh my gosh RW, I hope you get great results with the PT!

I'm not able to tolerate PT because they gave me "funny exercises" to do at home, and I thought I'd hurt myself further. That's why I was so slow to respond to you, I didn't want to be a bad influence just when you were starting out.

I have noticed though, that repetitive, easy exercise has been helping me to regain the strength in my legs. I got an elliptical machine that works wonders for me. I have to take it easy on it though because many parts of me are fragile now due to the MS, spasticity and age.

Keep up the good work! It sounds like you have a good one!
