Hi Karen: I am also a newbie here. You are going to love this group. When I joined I had no idea what it was going to be. They are a great group that has helped me in more ways than they know. The support is great. It is informative but most of all some of the posts just gets your mind off your health problems and makes you laugh and feel like you are having fun with a whole lot of good people. I hope you are feeling better and that you will enjoy this site as much as I do. JOYCE

Hi Greeneyes :Wave-Hello:
Welcome to the group. I haven't been here that long but I love it. This is a great group. Lots of laughs and fun. :welcome_sign: Joyce |
Hello, I just found this place from searing for more information. I have not been diagnosed as of yet, but today my doc had used the words "clinical probablility" when refering to my current health.
On thursday night at 4 am, i woke up unable to move my right arm, right leg, and tingling in my face on the right side. Went to the doctor later on that day after regaining use of my arm and leg (both still are tingly, and hard to use right hand, please forgive any typing errors) He sent me to get an MRI. The MRI came back with some "unspecified anommolies" and they scheduled me for a Neuro visit. Today after doing some more test and looks at the MRI, he said that I am showings signs of MS. Two years ago i was told by my GP that i had a pinched nerve in my left leg. well the Neuro said that I was misdiagnosed due to some simptoms of a pinched nerve that were not present with the GP (such as pain) Sorry for the rant, kind of confused and a little scared at the moment. I am 26 with a 2 year old daughter, I am not sure if im ready to deal with something this big. I have alwase been very healthy. I have never even had strep throat or an ear ache. This seems to be a good place for me to get more support outside the family. My mother is a nurse and has worked in several MS support places, thank god for that one. anyway. Hello, and I will probably be asking alot of questions. Thanks for letting me steam a bit hehe |
