yes, Finny.
it's usually my right ankle that collapses outward, and my right foot that's floppy. but about 15% of the time, presto-chango, my left side goes all wonky on me. so, I have two AFOs. very simple ones, soft cloth, with a bit of hard plastic side-bracing, and velcro closures, pretty easy to deal with. the AFOs even fit inside most of my shoes. I only wear them when I have to go out, and walk more than two hundred yards, that's when it kicks into gear, as I grow more tired. it's especially 'active' if I have a virus or bacterial infection at the time. hope yours resolves soon, dear! ![]()
