I'm sorry to hear about the problems with you mom. My mother is usually equally as selfish and rarely really listens to what I have to say. She is too busy thinking about what she is going to say next. Anyway, I must have reached her in a rare moment of compassion. I hope you get an opportunity to make your mom understand too.
