Dietary changes can be so tough on you emotionally. Make sure you give yourself some goodies that are not food. A walk, a book, some music, or just time to meditate.

When my DD was dx with celiac, it just felt so cruel to deny her the many things she loved, and used to comfort herself with. As time marched by, and she saw how much better she felt, it got easier. We tried hard to help her self comfort as she adjusted.
