Default Keep the "Miracles" coming...

Everyone,

I was inspired by Lizzie's great news, as well as my own, to post this.

There is a fairly new theory in science that kind of blends science with religion. There are more and more studies being done, and I see referrences to this field of study in the news a lot, but they are kind of masked and if you're not aware of it, you may not even notice.

I would encourage you to get a copy of the book "The Field" by Lynne McTaggart, or The Intention Experiment by the same author to understand it, but in a nutshell, scientists have accidentally stumbled onto this "force" in the universe that seems to react to intentions of people - you can call it God, Alah, Jehova, the Force (like Starwars) or whatever you like, but whatever form you choose to pray to, it has power.

The jist of it is that when even one person focuses their "intentions" or thoughts on something, they can effect change. When a group of people focus at the same time on the same thing, the power is multiplied exponentially. Prayer groups demonstrate this power, and it doesn't seem to matter which entity is being prayed to. There are apparently rules, which all religious people are already aware of. The prayers and thoughts have to have unselfish purposes, for one.

I believe that through this forum, we are all using this field to the better!
I feel that Lizzie's wonderful news is a direct result of all the prayers, thoughts and "intentions" of all of us combining. I think possibly we can help each other more than with advice and support.

I'm sure a lot of you think I'm nuts, or sacreligious with this idea, but really it seems to be a blending of science and religion - a reconciliation of the two. They can see on medical tests the changes that either positive or negative thought has on the brain, the nervous system and finally the body.

Let me know your feelings on this. Maybe we can all "target" specific members and set times to focus on them together. I'd love nothing better than to see all of you enjoy the freedom of health, energy, and having a LIFE without all the medical concerns and visits!

LOVE to all - let's become a curing force!

Becky, My daughter was in Ecuador when all this happened. She was on a Missions trip. So, I had to wait until she got home to tell her all that had happened.
My eldest daughter picked her up at the Airport, as my youngest is staying with her sister for the summer, as it's near the Bible college she attends, and close to her job she has there. So, I won't actually see her until the 20th.

Anyways, she called me from the airport when she landed, and told me of so many Miracles that took place while she was there.

She couldn't talk long, called me back later, and said, that my eldest told her. When she found out, she cried. My eldest said, she sobbed.
Unbeknown to me, before she had left for Ecuador, she sent an e-mail to every church she could think of that's in our denomination (Assemblies of God, and some Nazerene sp?)And asked them if they'd put me on their prayer list, and please pray for a miracle to happen. She told none of us, that she was doing this! I was floored, to say the least about what she had done.

I am a firm believer in the fact the God sent his son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins, and I have no doubt, he is The living God, that answers His Childrens prayers. I don't know the whys, as to why all wasn't healed, but am completely okay with this one being gone...yay.. He preforms Miracles today!

Love Lizzie

I know that there is strength in numbers ... people sending their strength or positive energy. I think that we all need (can give) a helping hand. ~ Melanie

Lizzie,
I would like to add an "Amen" to your belief in Jesus and what He did for all of us on the cross! We just need to keep the faith and know that He is in control. He is still in the Miracle business today as He was long ago!
God Bless you!

Lizzie, I can only imagine the relief you and your family have experienced! That's such a touching story of your daughter's efforts! My daughter is much like that and when she got the word of the virus vs. the other alternatives they have been looking at on me, she cried as well. We are all so fortunate to be surrounded by so much love!

Give your family (and yourself) a big hug and congratulations from me, ok?

Smile Praise God!

I am a huge believer in the power of prayer and that God is working in my life. Why I have MG is not for me to question. My faith has never been stronger. He has blessed me in so many ways. I feel so loved and blessed.

Although technically there is no "cure" for MG, I KNOW that God can do anything, anything!

As crazy as it may sound, I feel happier and more blessed than I have in my whole life. God allowed me to live through my crisis(s) for a reason....to try and HELP others. To not live for myself. To honor Him above all others. To stop being selfish and arrogant. I pray that I do him honor.

I pray for all of you. I would love it if those of you that do pray will do so for me as well!

Big, big hugs!
Erin

Hi Becky:

Thank you for your post to all of us. I, too, have been directly impacted by the prayers of others and my own prayers to the Lord many times through the years in huge ways. It is faith and prayer that can make the difference in meeting challenges of all kinds. I am new to the forum, but count me in.

I definitely believe this. I have seen it happen with my gardening.

I have seen it happen with people. Positive energy is very powerful!

I would never laugh at this concept! And I will look for the book!

Thanks for this post too!

The reviews at Amazon are compelling... going to get this for my summer hiatus!
