Default New to Community

Hi, I am new to this list and hope to find some answers. I had a subarachnoid hemorrage (please excuse my spelling) last year in October and I am still feeling the effects. I haven't been able to return to work yet, largely due to headache and fatigue. I live in a small rural community so there is not a lot of support here and my doctor while very good has never had this happen to him nor does he take the medication he has prescribed. There are days when when my head feels like it is full of stuffing and I'm trying to think my way through all that stuffing, thats actually most days, headaches are pretty much a way of life and my eyes have been bothering me lately so I'm wondering if I suffered some damage to my vision (I will make an appointment with the eye doctor Monday) as a result of the bleed. My left arm and the left side of my head seem to ache constantly. My doctor prescribed topamax to help with headaches and it does help with headaches but when I take it I feel even spacier. It's a catch 22. I guess I'm wondering if the way my head and eyes are feeling is normal? Does anyone out there have similiar experiences? Thanks, Julie
