thank you for your support..after talking to my cardiologist yesterday, he doesnt seem to think My Chest pains are a danger signal ( hope he's right ) he is more concerned how the hematologist at my local hospital doesnt seem to think i need to see them for this, and arent taking it seriously, its not rocket science to know that when something ( B12 INJECTION IN THIS CASE) which has worked fine for me for so many years and now has the reverse action, then something is definately wrong, and needs to be investigated further.
I am trying to get in to see my Gp next week before my sons wedding, so that the he at least could write to the hemotologist again insisting they sort this issue out,,I would have no qualms in taking the oral sublingual b12, if it would do the job, without these terrible side effects. Once i have an answer,,and i hope that will be soon, then i will get back to you on this subject, and hopefully help others out there that maybe unlucky enough to be having the same issues. PS as far as my cardiologist seems to think, there is no change to my heart health, and The B12 issue is to blame. Thanks again for taking the time to answer my thread. |

Many doctors don't even know methylcobalamin exists!
Don't be surprised at a blank look or poor answer. Just ask for the testing. You can come on the Vitamin forum, our Peripheral neuropathy forum, or PM me as you wish. pennies a day for oral methylcobalamin... not a big deal. If your levels are fairly close to 400 (in UK they use different scales), then 1mg (1000 mcg daily) would probably be enough. If you are very low inspite of your injections, then 5mg daily would be the way to go. Only about 10% of this is absorbed passively so the numbers look large, but really the body doesn't get it all. The link I gave you explains it all..so please read it.
