Thumbs up I'm glad you're here, Dan. Welcome!

It would, of course, have been better had you gone to the ER immediately after hitting your head--but you didn't. Okay, it happened.

So you learn from it, forgive yourself, and move on.

Anyone with concussion has reason for concern. I have a poor sense of balance, yet as a kid insisted that I could learn to ride a bike. Two concussions later, my mother AND doctor informed me that bike riding was off my bucket list.

You are doing the right things now. Folks will be by to suggest things, but mainly I would encourage you to be cautious (and you are being, as in the no-liquor decision) but try not to panic. Stress is not what you need. You didnt say how you were following up on the CT scan; you need to follow up with someone, your primary doc or someone, because if there's nothing on the scan you want to find the cause of the headaches.

But stress, for sure, you don't need. And stress headaches come in many forms. Turn this all over to people who know, do not just worry yourself sick.

Stay in touch. Happy Birthday-coming-up!
