I just bought a magnetic knee support, which has 8 800 gauss magnets down each side of the support so that's 12,800 gauss .. anyone know how effective magnets can be with pain...supposed to get circulation and blood flowing. I'm on day 3, no miracle YET...but I will give it time for sure.

The older black ferrite magnets do not work. That is my opinion.
These are responsible for the negative reviews and experiences
with "magnets".

I only use neodymium ones... they work in minutes for me.
Therefore I don't need to wear them ...I just use them for 20 minutes or so in bed to the affected area. You have to place them along a nerve path that is serving your painful area. Use an anatomy chart to help you decide where to put one.

Lidoderm patches and magnets need careful placement to work. The magnets have to be very strong to penetrate tissue.

Dr. Holcomb used neodymiums only.

But then, I already posted to you about this, didn't I?

Yes, you did mention this to me, but I didn't know where we talked about it. I'll have to give this a chance...I talked to some folks about the spot magnets and taping them on etc and I just couldn't deal with that. I'll look at Dr. Holcomb's link. I deal with a narley mess of a knee and need to wear a support anyway so got this one.
