Hi and Welcome,
I am so sorry you are in such pain and have had such a long journey without answers or relief. IMHO you are not totally out of options. It would be great if the source of your pain could be located. Sometimes nerves can get caught up in scar tissue after surgeries or perhaps the pain signals got turned on and never shut off. Peripheral nerve specialists can sometimes indentify the problem, the doctors with this training are usually plastics and reconstructive surgeons. Also in some cases a nerve ablation can be helpful. I know someone personally who had pelvic nerve pain for several years who got their life back this way. If they can locate the source of pain through testing with a local anesthetic you might get an idea if that would help. There is also the option of trying something like ketamine infusions for chronic pain before going to the spinal cord stimulator. Hang in there and be kind to yourself. I hope you find relief soon! ![]()
