Unhappy Hello. I am Depressed.

Hello to all. This is my first post. I have Major Depressive Disorder. I need additional information and support beyond what I get in therapy.

Hi SeekerOfLife

Welcome to NeuroTalk .

I live with Major Depressive Disorder as well so maybe have some understanding of how things are for you.

You might like to check out this NT forum; http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/forum37.html.

There are lots of good folk there - they could be able to offer you support and suggestions.

All the best.

Hi, I don't know a soul who hasn't had a depression to some degree in their lives. I struggled with a 10 yr depression from 1991 to 2002....not getting thyroid supported...Long story.

Later found how Vit D deficient I was which also caused a Milder depression in spite of fixing the thyroid.

Could you tell us a little more about you and what you have done so far...there are many "helpers" to beat the depression cycle.
