No, I have not had that. I had EMGs long ago on my arms though when I had carpal tunnel severely.

My early PN was from low thyroid functions.

I now have some in my feet (30 yrs later) due to insulin resistance and some arthritis. But it is not progressive, and not severe.

I don't know about the test you are planning to have. Perhaps someone else here can help you with that.
