Hot summers are terrible for my PN. I suffer miserably.
These past 2 days over 90 degrees aren't to my liking at all.
Cold winters are bad too.
If'n I had my druthers, I'd be in a place that was temperate
and not high humidity -about 75 degree days and 50-60 degree nights, 365 days a year. Spring or Fall - year round. Now that's a climate I'd really like.

Well this cold snap is headed east!

On the jar opener....it is hard to even hold the jar anymore....hence the opener.

I tried some stitching today and ended up in tears with pain....no more sewing. I think this is the arthritis tho, not the neuropathy. I have some prom dresses I sewed a few years ago, that I want to donate, but, I cant get them finished...all the fine needle work...poo. Maybe I should just donate them as is, and let the recipient finish them.

Mmmmmmm, hammmmmm...not as good as SPAMMMMMMM, but still.

I made 9 loafs of paska over the weekend, plus put up with the outlaws from Thursday till Monday. My face is frozen in a toothy faux smile.

We are having a belated Easter and egg hunt with my grand daughter. We bought a little riding toy to keep here for her to have something to do. I forgot about kids toys.....assembly required! Hubby and I have finally stopped cursing now. We set up a little corner for her to keep toys for when she visits. Altho, her mom will have to explain to her why the barbie musical riding toy has to stay at grammie's and grampa's.

We have 4 birthdays from mid March to mid April and 2 of them on April 14th....so this is our birthday bash too...dual purpose gathering.

I will forget about my bad hands tomorrow, and hope I get filled with the joy that babies can bring. Those giggles and wonderful big hugs around the neck. Also seeing many of my grown kids.

My house has been pretty much purged, the remodel is almost done except for a few minor things and also the slight electrical issue we found today. I am so comfortable in my new digs. I just love this light creamy yellow paint color, and white shaker style cabinets, with pale yellow cabinets for the island! A place for everything and everything in its place. I was amazed at how well I fixed a section that needed drywall....it came out great!

I did much of the house in this light yellow color. Hubby helped me paint. I love my corian counter with integral sink, too! And my island! It's a small kitchen and house, but this looks sooo nice and my kitchen works so well for me, and I have a dishwasher now!!!

Oh and I put up vinyl wall words....those are cool. I got them 50% off today.

In a few more weeks, I think I will have every closet cleaned and the whole house organized...garden planted....and Spring has sprung now!!

Just hope my health holds so I can enjoy the warmth and sun.
