Default New Pain Medication for PN

Look kids it's an opioid

On another note: can't wait for my Neurocaine topical cream to show up tomorrow. Sounds like fun anyway~

I particularly liked the line stating that the drug should not be taken accidentally. Presumably taking something accidentally is not planned...

The main ingredient is pharmaceutical cocaine. That's right - no misspelling. This stuff lasts about as long as coke does too. It says to put it on 3-4 times a day - that should be your first clue. Sticky as hell, the consistency of airplane glue. I guess you're supposed to take your compression socks off a couple of times at work, put the sticky stuff on, and try to put them back on within a half hour. I reckon I shouldn't complain. It helped me for about an hour. Although I was really disappointed it didn't make my feet horny.

Lightbulb

The --caine anesthetics are derived chemically from cocaine, historically. But Lidocaine and Benzocaine do not have the CNS euphoria characteristics.

They work by blocking sodium channels in nerve membranes. The flow of sodium into the nerve cell and potassium out, is what propagates the biochemical electrical signal that nerves send.

When sodium channels are blocked, the nerve cannot communicate pain signals for a short time. None of them are long lasting. In patch form, Lidocaine called Lidoderm, releases lidocaine over a period of 12 hours, and therefore lasts longer because of the patch dynamics.

"The main ingredient is pharmaceutical cocaine."

Defiantly to wet to snort. Have you tried swallowing some? maybe if you have enough you wont even know you have feet , this would be the ultimate in pain relief

I would have, but there's a warning on the side of the bottle that says, "And don't even think about ingesting it you *******"
