I use magnets for pain all the time. For the past decade or more.

They do not cure...but they block pain when against the nerves that are problematic. I've used them for my knee and tendon injury too.
These are special high gauss magnets called neodymium. If you search
"magnets" you find several posts. Brian also uses them.
