Either way I was wondering if any of you guys have or had this condition.
Hi , my veins bulge too - feet and legs( and hands). Do your feet/legs goes bright red too?Im on oxynorm and methadone amongst other rubbish lol!. Also using two creams that help temporarily - huiroid cream - veins bulging - its for phlebtitis type problems. Very cooling - soothing briefly. Prescription only in UK Caspicum cream - its suppose to help nerve pain - ive just started using -prescription only in UK so watch this space.

Re oxynorm i take 10 mg x3 times day but i also take 5 or 10 mg when needed extra for spikes( breakthrough pain) . I usually take around average 50 mg of oxynorm a day but have gone up to 80 mg. Yes sounds high but pain specialist says take what i need rather than suffer. I take 60 mg of methadone daily to help stabilise pain. . 15 mg oxycontin isnt that much. Is it a slow release? Maybe you are not having higher enough dose or you are getting early end of dose breakthrough pain. Id ask my specialist to up my dose and give me a fast acting opiate like oxynorm to cover breakthrough period ( oxynorm is fast acting sister of oxycontin ,which was what i took before being tritated to methadone). I was taken off oxycontin because of possible addictive problems and also side effects. Methadone leaves you more lucid although i hate taking it because of its stigma with drug addicts etc.
Personally with pain i find that i need slow release and a fast acting to cover in order to keep pain more bearable. As you know it just takes edge off or drugs you up either way.

God bless x
