Taking some benfotiamine (or Thiamine daily) may help get rid of the aldehydes the Candida dumps into your system.
300mg a day of benfotiamine to start, or 300mg thiamine in divided doses for at least a month. You may see some improvement with that too.

If your infection is ongoing, it too can make you sick.
Thanks for the Info.

Once the symptoms started, I started researching and took all the recommended supplement and still do. The infection is long gone but Ill try the Candida Support.

Oh, that caused me to cringe - it sounds all too familiar to me..............

Mine started last July with twitching then cramping, in various areas but mostly the legs. Then a few months later the feet started burning, then some scattered mild burning and stabbing pains in other areas. No diagnosis yet, the Drs. don't seem like they believe my symptoms. They need to invent a device that would let a doctor "feel what your feeling"

Ugh. This is so typical of doctors. I'm so sorry. I really wish that our doctors could "spend" a day in our body. I think this would give many the empathy and attitude correction that is clearly needed.

I read about how a lot of people's PN starts with "tingling" in their toes. Can anyone elaborate on what kind of sensation that is?

For me, before the pain, came the tingling. It feels like your body parts are not getting circulation, like they are falling asleep, going numb or do go numb. Or it can be more of a strong pins and needles feeling, or it can be little electrical zaps/shocks. That is usually how it started for most of us I think.
It depends if its length dependent or NLD as to where the symptoms are concentrated.

My sfn started with sunburn feeling all over my entire body. If you scratched my skin, it would burn badly like I was sunburned.

This waxed and waned for a few months, and I started getting pin prick sensations everywhere-like someone was poking me with a needle.

The burning eventually stopped for the most part this past winter. Now I get some tingling, lots more pinprick sensations (like tiny bees stinging you), cramping, twitching, and compression pain. I have also lost some sensation on the backs of my calves and areas of my scalp...but even if I scratch other areas it'll still feel slightly weird-so I think I have probably lost some sensation all over.

My is obviously not length dependent, as it started all over my body. My feet and hands actually have all their sensation still I think.

I see. Was it constant and how long after did the pain come? Thanks.
