Hi Everyone,
The weight of my blankets is driving me crazy at night by adding to my pain so I started looking into a blanket T bar product and found this; https://www.theblanketbar.com/produc...789/category=0 It's a bit pricey though...$47 plus $20 to ship it to me. Does anyone have a similar product they like? I see there are others available yet it's hard to choose based on an internet picture. Thanks, Cliffman ![]() |

If you have a foot board you might be able to make your own..with something around the home, or from a store with craft or building materials..
we did similar to this for my dad.. a padded piece of thin plywood propped on the foot board - a piece or plexi glass, heavy cardboard would work too. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...Ad0QMwgfKAIwAg

Hi Cliffman
I know of someone who made something similar using lightweight plastic plumbing/electrical piping connected with the rounded corner joiners - from the hardware store. I think it sat on top of the bed - kind of like a rectangular arch. Although that one in the photo looks kinda nifty and not that bad a price if it gives the comfort needed - have you tried looking for a used one on ebay or other sites? Good luck finding something suitable. |

In case anyone is interested in a good product to keep the blanket/sheets off your feet at night I did end up opting for the bed cradle in the video below from theblanketbar.com. They were running a 20% off sale so that cut the shipping in half.
It arrived yesterday. It was very easy to put together and didn't hurt my hands because there are no tools needed. 2 observations from using it only one night. Although it keeps the blanket & sheets off my feet it does create a colder environment in that area, however I did expect that to happen. The other issue came as a surprise, after years of having at least a sheet covering my feet I didn't sleep so well since I my feet were not touching anything. I'm sure it's something I will get used to over time. Cliffman ![]() Quote:

Cliffman,
If you don't have at least a sheet touching your feet, the monsters under your bed will get them ![]() ![]() Dave.
