Default Thanks Mrs. D

I have been taking Bcomplex without any problems. Although you did get me thinking... this may have been a hypo episode??? I took the ALA on an empty stomach. Maybe it lowered blood sugar too much?

Needless to say, I need to find a supplement to help with my new problem, pain from fibro. I for some reason have developed fibromyalgia. Now I have PN and fibro.

Aussie, fibro responds almost miraculously to going to water aerobics class 3-4 times a week and a healthy diet, in my experience. Of course, this takes some time and is a hassle. Rarely is someone willing to go to this effort. Pain can be a good motivator, however. Hey, if I give up Diet Coke with Lime will you go to water aerobics??????

Default Yes

I am making the call to the swimming centre now. Do you have Fibro? Also like most people here,we probably have few if any indulgences. I have a feeling that diet coke may be your last little indulgence and I don't want you to give that up for me!

Default Aussie99 go to....

....Google and type in Betafentamine and see what comes up - lol!!! Is there another way of spelling that word as apart from the one reference, there is no information at all about it!!

Also Aussie99 sometime when you are in a health store have a look at the Melrose Cold Pressed, Organic, Unrefined, non-GM Flaxseed oil. It is kept in the fridge and in a dark glass bottle. It has Alpha Linolenic Omega 3's in highest proportion and in significantly lesser amounts - Linoleic Omega 6 and Oleic Omega 9. I have used this for a couple of years and never had any specific trouble with it.

I am aware though that we do not need extra Omega 6 and 9 as we either have enough (or too much) in our diet or our body manufactures it. What is your take on this whole ALA thing?

Also have you ever used any of the BioCeuticals range of practitioner dispensed products such as Ultra Muscleze (for magnesium resuscitation) and High potency Vit C powder also by BioCeuticals? They have quite a few very good products in their range. I always get my products through a naturopath or my chiropractor but I notice they have a website also :http://www.fit.net.au/Product.aspx?f...=conditionlist

Default Hi Megan

I take the Betafentamine, I just got that from iHerb. I will look into the Flaxseed oil.I take Natures Own Fishoil ecause it's cheaper. I have the mega family bucket. I obviously have some immune system issues that need to be worked out.I saw on Current Affair this doctor in Sydney that can reset ones immune system, and he helps with allergies and pain, and such.

Maybe I'll hunt him down!

Aussie, I had fibro a number of years ago and got rid of through the regimen I described. It hasn't returned, even with the onset of PN, and I am holding my breath. I've completed another 24 hours free of Diet Coke with Lime and am feeling quite virtuous and self-righteous. Also a little unbearable. I can't wait until my angelic personality returns. I have also bitten off all my fingernails and am thus no longer the beauty queen I once was.
