I am wondering if you could get a dvd to help you with your stretching ? Either that or go to a class. I started out going to a class at my local that was predominantly for people who had had strokes (I was the youngest by 40 years !) but it suited my level. When i 'grew out of' the class I progressed on to the gym but my programme is overseen by the guy who runs the class I used to be in.
I find that I can be a lot more active in a gym than I can be anywhere else as I can work around many of my physical difficulties with a bit of imagination plus the gym equipment. I really love it, as I used to be very active before chronic illness struck. hth raglet |
