Hi Lil! Hi Liz!

Yes, this is a really handy site, thank you....after so many years I finally got myself a measuring jug with both UK and US measures marked on it.

You have no idea how baffling a "cup" measure is....a teacup, a mug, a big or small cup?? - For those of us not from the US, you'll know what I mean. Anyway, I finally know now, (thinks..thanks to my new jug...) And the answer is, quite a big cup.

So pleased the scones came out OK, it is a good recipe that one, even when I do something clutzy, they're always at least edible!
