I'm sorry you have this on top of your rsd. I would tell the podiatrist obviously about you rsd and bring literature on it in case he doesn't know what it is when he needs to fix your problem. I would also tell him about possible spread and maybe see if you pm dr or neurologist can help with this situation before it's fixed. I hope you feel better soon and he can get rid of you ingrown toenail without adding problems to your rsd. My thoughts are with you.
