I was wondering if anyone has experienced ringing in their ears, loss of hearing in their ears and mild pain when the ear is touched.
I have had this problem for about two weeks. The ringing is getting louder and comes and goes. It's only in my right ear. The partial loss of hearing comes and goes too only in that ear. And when the dr checked my ears it was tender to the touch. I saw my GP about it last week because I don't want to have my surgery for my gallbladder in two weeks if there is a problem with my head (well lets say my ears, because I already know there is a problem with my head lol) and he said it looks clear and that it might be tenitis (spelling?) and that after my surgery I should see an ear nose and throat specialist to see if it is something else that starts with an M. (I can't remember now what it was called). I asked him what caused this and he said no one knows and they really can't do much about it. I'm wondering if I should get a second opinion. If anyone has had this problem and has an idea of what they think is going on, I would really appreciate your input. Thanks.
