Default just checking in

i've not posted since the funeral of our little girl, can't seem to get my act together. Needless to say, my husband is in the same shape as me. We decided to let our other 2 go on vacation with their grandparents. Our girls have been so good, our 12 year old is playing little mother, so it will be nice for her to go with grandma and just get out of this grief. With all the stress, of course i'm flared, but, my pain doc has been great and increased my meds without seeing me. Well, I just wanted to update, I have been lurking and my heart is always with you.

Hi Dolphin.

I wish there was something I could say that could be any help at all - but I know there is nothing.

I just wanted to say that I have been thinking about you and your family...

Love

Hi Dolphin,

I don't believe I have met you but you quote at the bottom of your post was heartwrenching but so true.
I hope that this is what brings you comfort following the loss of your little one.

Thanks for the update Dophinz,
I think of you often and pray for strength for you and the family.
Don;t rad below ifit hurts to read of my loss too.....

I lost my older daughter earlier this year and it is so tough. Without the forum family I would be lost. There are cherished friends on NT. They are always somehow intuitive to empty feeling days I am having.....I am onLexapro and it helps my depression and racing mind.

Some days a tissues, and others like last night are a towel...ringing wet.
I have done somebthings that helped. Lots of Angels, De had so many I never realized it. I have guardian angel pin, one on the visor of the car, Gabriella Angel Bear from Ebay has been my huggy bear, lost of Angel knick knacks, folk art types she had in her kitchen and on the fridge.

Also, the cards, notes and letters friends sent I keep near me.

Somedays I want run to her, hold her, others I wish she was pulling up in a taxi to come home, Then there is reality, I know how sick she was with pain so overhelming. Is it fair for me to have her in this agony for my selflessness

My love and hugs, dear Mom. My prayers are with your family,
Di

It is good to see your post. Your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Will you be getting grief counseling? It might be something to look into. Also, support groups for those who have lost dear loved ones.

Please let your husband know that we are also thinking of him in this time of loss. Be there for each other.

Hugs.

Hi Dolphin, It is so nice to hear from you. I have been thinking of you often and hoping that you are O.K. Sometimes the best we can do is live one minute at a time until things get a little easier. It's nice that the children are able to spend time with grandma. Grandparents always seem to have a special way of lifting the spirits of their grandchildren. Please keep us updated as to how your family is doing. In the meantime you will be in my prayers. Jeannie
