Hi Carrie,

It's strange that you mention having weird and scary dreams with RSD as for the past month or so now, I have been waking up several times a night with dreams or nightmares.

The dreams aren't always scary - sometimes they can be about what I have done during the day and what I need to do the following day etc and sometimes they can be REALLY scary and I keep having a persistant dream about my grandad that passed away in November coming back to see me ... if only that was true!!!!

For me, I think the dreams/nightmares are caused by a lot of emotional stress that I have going on at the moment with School, Family etc etc and I think that the pain makes it worse also ... I tend to notice that the more pain I am in, the more weird dreams I have!!

I am going to mention it to my Doctor when I next see him and I would highly recommend you do the same also as you shouldn't be having to go through all of this! I know it's hard (especially with RSD!!) but please try and make your life as stress-free as possible - stress will only make things worse and COULD be contributing to some of your problems! Also if you are on any meds such as Ketamine, speak to your doctor as that could be causing the problems.

Take care and please keep us updated!!!
