I am having a series of promblems... I was marked with PTSD years ago from a traumatic event... I am having a bit of a set back as my house burnt down and they think it was aarson... There are certian ppl i can think of that would do this which is scarying the crap out of me.... I am having problems that i am a bit embarrassed of... but maybe you all can help it not be so bad... when i am sleeping... i am ending up in wierd places of the house and dont remember my self going there my mom keeps chalking it up to my meds... i dont think that is the case because it is hours after i take meds... that i am ending up in these bizzare places.... This is problem number one... .

Also I am now having sever heel pain my rsd is centrelized in my upper body both arms but mostly the right... When i ran out of the burn the house... I was bare feet so i had sever forst bite 1st-3rd degree burns to the bottom of my feet from it... I am having sever pain numbness and firey burn we all know way to well... Do you all think this is RSD speard... I am scared to death... I dont want it to be i cant take much more...

Problem 3... I had a MRI a month ago... I also had one 3 months prior to the most current MRI all of a sudden the same type of MRI is showing have major bulging discs between C5 and C6... They did an Epidural with steriods and i am still showing the buldge... they say this could be causing some of my pain... and the series of sever headaches i am having and of course that may be true but the steriods didnt help.. does anyone know what happenes next...

Its like my doctor has hit the wall and he is done treating me ... he doesnt leaving me in the loop wont increase my pain meds even though i am having sever pain and i have been on the same does for almost 2 years which means i am almost most certianly tolerant to it.... I am so scared.... I have nothing left i feel like i am losing a uphill battle... I just lost my house, my poccessions, everything important to me and now i have all these new problems and i dont know what to do about it.. and the doctor wont listen... I am sorry its so long i am just scared... and tired of fighting for once i dont feel like fighting this fight any more....

first let me say ..... take a deep breath ... i am so sorry you are going through such a hard time. i also have bulging disc in c4 5 and 6. it does cause pain, my neck will get very stiff and i will have sever migrains that i take injections for. topamax has been my lifesaver for the migrains... sideeffects not cool but i can honestly say i dont have migrains like i used to. i can not tell you what happenes next... but i can say this .... i do understand the pain you feel and am so sorry you are going through such a hard time in your life, hang in there things will get better. take care michelle

Could you maybe look for a different Dr. Maybe this Dr. just doesn't know what to do next.

I am sorry to hear about your house. Our home burned in 95 and we lost everything. It is devastating. My hardest part was losing things Susan had made for us in school and family pictures. Luckily I have enough family that they came up with pictures for me but when you have to start all over, it's very hard.

We went to Red Cross for help and they offered us 25. I told them they could keep it they must need it worse then we did.


The foot pain could be spurs or plantar fasceitis. Sorry if it's spelled wrong but it causing burning on the bottom of the feet.

first of all i want to say that i am so sorry that you have lost your home this way. my coumminty is goin thro the same sort of thing. on good friday there was an f4 that came thro and destoryed most of our city. we are very very lucky as we are one of the lucky ones 3 houses were spared on our street mine was one. we had damage but our house is still standing so we are lucky.. hang in there it does get a little better over time i swear. now yes the disc will cause the headaches and increased pain. the heel pain maybe due to the frost bite and burns and causing flare.. your story isnt too long we want to know this stuff and help everyone as we can.. please keep talkin like pete said. we are all here to help wach other ..
i would do what dreambeliever said maybe you can look into another doc. because u are right you have probly been completely immuned to the pain meds at the same dose for 2yrs.. please let us know how things are goin

Do you ever just feel like you cant stay strong any more though... I feel like the fire was like my final braking point... I think everyone has one and i honestly belive this one was mine... I just am over whelmed... i feel sad and upset and i dont know how to make anything better... My doctor has giving up which is scary because i really thought he never would...I am just scared of this feeling I have that I dont know what more i can take... I keep putting off the epidural for fear it wouldnt work.. and low and beholded it didnt work... but its like i cant take many more blows... I am seeing a psychologist... it just seems like i am over whelmed i am sorry to come on the site and sound so down because i am typically not that way but really am... and no one in my family gets it... No one understands why i am hidning out upstairs in my cousins room since the fire we had to move in with my aunt and uncle and all i do is hide out in there... I just dont even want to be arround people any more... Again i am sorry to sounds so deppressed i know i am but... I just wanna be arround ppl that understand my pain... my feelings... I dont know sorry..

You could be having some effects of post traumatic stress disorder {PSTD} also. Due to the fire...and the losses.
Has your psychologist mentioned it at all or has the topic come up?

I think if you can deal with one thing first - possibly the dr & pain meds part..
You might feel a bit more able to cope.

I'm sorry you are having a tough time. You are dealing with a lot right now and it's O.K. to seem overwhelmed. You don't have to apologize for how you feel at one point or another we have all been there.

You can get headaches, neck, shoulder and arm pain from disc in the neck. I had disc fusion at C6 and C7. I see a chiropractor who helps with my pain and energy level. He diagnoised my RSD some 9 years ago.

Now is the time to show all those around you can handle this.

Call you phsycologist and open up. He/She may be able to give you a referral for a new doctor who can help the pain.

Call your doctor and be blunt and to the point. Ask him/her if they know where to go from here. You may have reached the end of their knowledge on how to help you.

When you are stressed and in pain you don't want to be around people. However, you need to get moving and get out of your room. Take a walk or go sit outside and clear your head.

Stress is an agrivator for pain. You seem to have more than your share of stress right know. So take some deep breaths. Breath in through nose filling your lungs to their fullest and release the air through your mouth. Now get the phone numbers of your doctors and make some calls.

I am so sorry and sending thoughts your way and am here if you want an email buddy day or night. Is there a way since this doctor is at a road block you could go for another opinion?What type of doctor is this? What meds are you on? I know when I was on a med I would walk into a wall even the next morning so it could be possible it still being from meds your night issue or it could be something seperate.I know how scary it is when your body shows signs of spread. Now I also know how hard it is to stay in the day but this may not be an rsd spread but just a flare up in pain due to what happened. I also now have developed severe head aches and we can't find the cause other then from my eye condition. I just had another mri of my brain which was done to see if there was anything pressing so I wonder if you could have one of your brain because this could also show the other causes of your pain.Or was this mri of your brain? Sorry if it was. I am so sorry about your house. Do you have a good support network of family and friends to reach out to and to discuss your fears? I understand when you hit a breaking point. I told my psych since so many other health conditions that don't go away has happened that really I can not take one more.
