More nervous this time .. I think perhaps because people keep asking if I'm sure I want to go through with it? No, I'm not sure, but if I don't I'll always wonder .. so come what may, fate has delivered me to this point in time and yes, I could turn back .. but I believe in going forward.

Op will probably be in the afternoon. Will try and keep in touch via Sinead as I have her text so will let her know how things are going.

My love to you all .. I feel you all there for me .. and I know your care is covering me like a big blanket.

Thank you xxx

From the World over, now that is quite an impressive group of folk praying all will be well. So turn away from the nay sayers and give it a go.
Love showers over you from many continents,

Just to let you know ... I waited at the Hospital 8 hours, only to be told that the surgeon before mine over ran and so there was no time for my op. Cancelled.

Rrae 02-01-2012 08:37 PM

No!

Oh Karen :( I am so very sad to hear this :(

I can only imagine how down in the dumps you must be feeling right now. I don't even know what to say.
A (((HUG))) is all I can give.

This is just unfair. Unfair....

It wouldn't have felt so bad had they said an emergency had come in .. But they have emergency theatres running 48 hours .. It's just the staff who didn't want to work past 6pm.

I am normally a very laid back person Saffy but that kind of cruelty would have set me off.

Do they have a department of water boarding?

Saffy 02-02-2012 12:04 PM

Well .. Rang Michelle, my surgeon's secretary. It's either the 15th or 20th of Feb .. She's got to sort it with him yet. I WILL definitely get it done that day as he's putting me first on the lost. She said, it's no consolation iknow, but he was really peed off that this happened too.
