For addressing lower body issues, the lot of them. It is not that all go in that position, the placement has much to do with the target zone or area.
Batten down if you must for the tail of the hurricane if it gained strength over the open sea, but given the sea cools as it heads toward you even though the current bears "warmer" water mayhaps it will be more of the remnant of a tropical storm by the time it hits. A good night to wrap up by the fire with hubby and an interesting book, methinks. Hope you have a better night of it tonight. CARING, Mark56 ![]() |

Hi Mark,
That makes sense when i think about it! Duh... brain is numbed today! The new meds are making a difference thank God, the meds he changed last Wednesday week didn't suit me at all, so changed them last Wednesday again and they're much better. It's getting busier at work now and I thought I was find it tough to cope before this is going to be a different ball game altogether... it'll be a bit like a good rollercoaster. As for the hurricane, i've been in a couple in Florida that were pretty scary. We're in the East of Ireland so we won't be as bad as the west but still the wind is starting to get up now, I think you're right a good night for settling in but no fire, it's very warm - typical of a hurricane. How are things with you and Cleo? I hope all is well... and the job front? Chat soon Sinéad ![]() ![]() Quote:

Sinead
MRidder 20110910 I write this a thinkin' of friend Sinead who's hurtin' and needin' real medical aid to place pain perspective aright in her life so pleasure be taken without daily strife. My God please take up this my earnest plea that Sinead be held healing and close to thee with better the method to manage the pain that governs her movement and life all the same. Not only she, Lord, needs your healing touch so many the friends here are seeking so much to put pain away and out of the mind that happiness once more return to our kind. So true, my friend, your storm will bring warmth. I had not recalled that. The winds and driven rain can be a bother, so snuggle down and maybe catch a movie with hubby tonight! Oh, it is almost night there already, just past 7pm....... well, you know my intentions. Regarding Cleo and me, we look to the future and what God holds in his palm for us. Last month Inspri drew in a 26% profit, and this after a climb into black ink all this year long. September is looking strong as well, and we thank the Lord for each and every order. Funny, it is, but in the member's mall, where we are allowed to mention what we truly do and the means to find us, the traffic since said mall opened is paltry, less than a couple hundred visits. Nevertheless we are there. ![]() Just now, Cleo is in her studio painting. She paints birdhouses, decorative art of things of olde, such as a watering can and the like, and GLASS. She is now painting a set of juice glasses, preparing inventory for an Autumn craft show. You may see her work at cleoscrafts.deviantart.com . What a blessing she is with her graphic art and the music she makes with her woodwinds [the area of her B.A. degree]. I love to hear her play. On the job front de moi. An interesting development this week. It felt as though God was leading me to return to the struggling startup company that so wants me but cannot afford to pay....... Cleo had thought along the same line though I had not spoken of it to her. We went to the ownership earlier this week with a proposition of work for deferred pay at a much higher rate for up to a year since Cleo, the family, and I would be taking all of the risk. The structure would also entail stock options, so we could elect to exercise payment partially in stock so as to gain a stake in the outcome of the effort into which I would pour my experience. They liked the idea, so now I have queries into three professionals, our accountant, and two lawyers, about structuring the real deal. Mayhaps I will be among the workforce unpaid, but feeling the spirit of business burning in my soul as our Inspri continues to drive toward thriving maturity at my family's hands. Sound good? This coming week we will make a long drive to visit our parents, all three, my Dad's 80th birthday is Saturday next [though with his Alzheimers he scarce will remember, but we MUST go as I feel drawn], then we will make yet another long drive so I may sing for the graveside service of my friend and her husband who passed in an auto accident last week on holiday. Her parents are so grateful, and I feel so blessed to be able to offer up the gift. I'll sing an updated version of Amazing Grace and The Lord's Prayer a cappela as there will be no musical instruments. God will lead, all will be well. Now, my friend, back to your eventide approaching, enjoy with Paul as best you can, and thank you for being one of my blessings, Mark56 ![]() |

Hi Mark,
Thank you so much for your email and for such a lovely poem, no-one has ever written a poem for me, Paul wants to know whats going on here eh.... LoL If you don't mind I just had a look at Cleo's wonderful crafts on her website, they are very pretty and I can imagine a person who likes birds, who likes and has time to sit and watch birds come and go to their garden would like these colourful works of art. I am curious, Cleo's BA is it in music, mine too, I played the Clarinet so woodwind too - more in common eh. Im very happy to hear that Inspiri forecast for next month also looks good, I think i'm becoming more aware of how long and how much time and effort it takes to get a business up and running. You have a good product mark and with so many Americans now suffering from back pain you'd think they would be flying off the shelves huh. On the job front, it sounds complicated but interesting, as long you are all Noohappy and you've thought all of this through with Cleo and it eventually brings in a few bob to keep a roof over your head, food on the table and some comfort like some nice vactions then yea it's good. I like stock options but don't you need quite a few to make any difference. Gosh, your Dad is celebrating is 80th birthday, it's such a great age isn't it. It must be tough on you and especially your Mam to be dealing with his alzheimers, God bless him you and your family. You must have a very nice voice to sing a cappela to sing at thier funeralas Now I have just checked messages and sent my you my good friend a message so that I can sleep tonight I will chat to you tomorrow, night night Sinéad# |

May you rest. Sleep is so hard for you, That simple three word sentence is my prayer for you this night.
You and Cleo have more in common than you suspect, as her principal instrument is clarinet, the B.A. being in music. I love to hear her play, and then she does amazingly well on her four saxophones, in fact that is the manner in which we met, was instrumental music, as I play brass as an avocation. My teacher so wanted me to go for a degree, but this mind of mine just had SO MANY thoughts spinning in it, I finally settled on three majors History, Government, and Economics while dabbling in languages and music, all of which I love, but it was so HARD not to be drawn to physics, math and chemisty as I so wanted to create things as well. What does one do? Only one life to live in these feet. May you arise rested tomorrow, and I will cool it with the poems ![]() Mark56 ![]() P.S. my very BEST regards to Paul. |

Hello there my friends;
My Consultant is hoping to bring me in next Week probably Wednesday to start some of this revision surgery I need, I've been to see him for the last 3 weeks in a row, the second visit was to clairfy and/or agree to his initial idea of completely removing my Medtronic SCS, get an MRI to check what else has gone wrong, stabilising surgery, and put in a new Nevro system. 2nd time was lets explore a different approach as I wasn't too keen on all this surgery but if it had to be done then i'd do it but..... So then it was suggested to leave the leads in, perhaps put in a 2nd lead on the other side and change to Nevro. He also had to change my meds as the ones he'd given me the week before didn't suit me at all. So got my meds changed to the ones we all love the oxy.... He thought it was a good idea to use the existing leads. 3rd visit to get me registered in the public system so I can get the Nevro put in, next year and put in the 2nd lead. I also saw the Pain Management team and they were really nice, they listened to what I had to say and they were clearly there to help me and didn't seem like they wanted me to fit into their system if you know what I mean. Anyhow, I've been in so much pain that life has been really, really hard (so what's new eh). My day at work is such a struggle, i can barely walk, I can barely drive, I can barely keep myself up right and I haven't worked a full week in ages but I have been bringing work home with me so it still gets done. With this in mind he doesn't want me to be like this for too long, my original appointment is for 28th October, he'd do it tomorrow if he could get theatre time and more hours in the day. Hopefully i'll be going in next Wednesday, to move the exisiting leads (and probably change them) and see how I go, he also wants to keep me for two days to get my pain under control. To be perfectly honest he might forget about this bit. As much as I love my doctor he forgets and he has to be reminded. So that's my update for the mo Oh yeah, some idiot tried to run me off the road the other day. She was turning at a junction, I was on the main road and she just kept coming, she didn't see me. I remember being perfectly calm thinking do I go in front of her (but she's still coming forward) or do I go behind and hope that no more cars are coming down to that junction the same direction she was coming from. So I chose to go behind her, car went off the road and missed a dyke in a ditch my centimeters, this dyke had a 2m drop and all i could see was me ending up in this dyke. Anyhow that didn't happen but boy did I get some fright! And she didn't even stop she just kept going, she eventually stopped when she realised that I wasn't moving, she got out of the car and said 'sorry' I could have killed both of us! Oh so scary, the back went into a complete spasm for the rest of the day and I could do nothing. All's well thank God, no one was hurt, no damage to cars thank God but really some people should not be driving. My moan for the day, sorry it's so long. Chat soon and love to all Sinéad xxxx ![]() |

Wow Sinead, the discussions, the thought process, the changing of leads, revision of meds to try better to manage pain in the meantime AND someone who should never be allowed on the road nearly eliminates the both of you!!!!!! No wonder you bear the pain, the spasm, the flare, pain out of control and the like. If doc can get theatre time to address present needs AND then keep you in for time to bring pain under control via meds and the leads revision I would be exceptionally happy for you!! Been there done that on trying to work out the pain dynamics, bring pain into control, not being able to manage it, all BECAUSE OF an immigrant driver who was illegally here to boot, IT was difficult to bear up and manage.
Prayin all the best for you that is for very sure!!! Sounds like as if you and Paul should have us ship you a Chevrolet Suburban for your roads so you would be in more of a TANK sized vehicle.... although the cost for fuel would be quite awful. Gotta protect you somehow! Perhaps a used military vehicle for you like a Hummer, or an armored personnel carrier.... Maybe we just need to send you some bumper stickers to paste all over your car showing Clint Eastwood in a Dirty Harry pose with the caption, "Go ahead, Make My Day!" Nah, scratch that... if they cannot even see you and your vehicle a bumper sticker is not coing to register. Your experience lets me know if we are able sometime to make a visit to your fair land, we had best leave the driving to someone else. Yep, Prayin for your upcoming procedure or procedures whatever you ultimately select for better pain management, Mark56 Lots of ![]() |

UNBELIEVABLE!! Talk about being 'tested'
![]() Good for you to remain calm at such a moment as this. I'm glad the dingbat had the sense to stop to see if you were ok. Sounds like you and your Dr have a good plan. Now we sit and wait and pray for a successful outcome and to keep you as comfortable as possible. He better NOT skimp on the pain control! You've been thru enuf as it is. Absolutely keep at him and reminding him what the main mission is -- to keep you as painFREE as possible. Anything less than that will warrant your group of buttbuzz buddies to unite and use the best of our intimidation tactics on the whole lot of 'em!! ![]() Truly I say - you are on the top of my prayer list my dear friend... ![]() ![]() |
