Smile Well.... I did find some previously chewed gum

On the sole of my shoe... you know, every now and again as you take a step and have that "oh no" of "sproing" when the shoe seems not to be able to leave the surface of the ground.....

Iridology.... Augendiagnostik, yeah, sounds Deutsch, the land of some of my forbears.... I swear there were times when Dad would almost shriek at our children, "you are not Italian [via my wife] you are German [mich, moi, yo, me, myself and I]. Thing is Dad never had one of those little bristle brush moustaches under his nose and the family is not from Oesterreich/Austria.... Gotta admit, some pretty kooky things have arisen out of the fatherland.... Augendiagnostik, Freudian psych thought, some makes of automobile made by companies which quietly made thousands of armored vehicles during the war after the war to end all.

Golly, I never thought of Iridology. One would think if it was the real deal we would be seeing the ophthalmologist FAR more often than we do, for they DO take serious looks into our eyes even with those blasted chemicals which cause dilation, translated "momentary huge eye" after which one should not drive. Hmmmm........ I am sorry Rae, this was something you pursued at great cost. Goodness, I was approached in all sincerity by a fellow from among our friends who asked whether we had ever heard of Edgar Cayce, the mid-20th Century seer. Anyway, he came to our home with Extra Virgin Olive Oil..... or was it some fish oil.... I forget, and some tea towels and plastic wrap. Had me doft the shirt, lie on prone while he created a poultice of some sort and claimed it was a Cure All which Cayce had used to heal a person with nerve pain once upon a time.

It was free. My friend was sincere. Who was I to suggest the oil might better be used for cooking.... blah, blah, blah..... so I lay there for hours, then again, then again, then again because if it was kept up and if we believed.... it would work. Well, I think I may be more Italian now than I was before with that oil soaked through by osmosis..... but, you know, it, uh, well, just did not do the trick for me. Oh, if it had, I would have been posting on a blog somewhere else singing the praises of oil and towels and plastic wrap...... but..... seems like GEESH goes welll here. After all it was free.....

Ya just never know, ya know?
Iridology,
Ophtalmology,
Hypnosis, [look into my eyes, says Karloff]
I have tried everything except Iridology, but I did go see the Ophthalmologist a couple of times since this pain first manifested,
Got new glasses,
I missed out,
