thank you for what i about to receive today

i was ready to go elsewhere
stopped here
so it is sunny out
rare to come by these days
and am not able to leave to go anywhere
having withdrawal problems from the zonagran 100 mg
once a day for the feet and hands
stomach cramps so bad several nights ago
would have gone to hospital
pulled through the night
Father the enormity of it all
the powerlessness
the pain in every form
what am i
who am i
but your child
i ask to feel you
i ask you touch me
i am not blind
i see the beauty in all the
chaos
this is truly a test upon test
and never ending
as i know i must forgive
as my Brother teaches me
God forgive me of any pain
i may have caused
and don't know it
i will NOT try another drug
as i write i am going through withdrawals
my brain tingling like mad
i know the signs and symptoms
as only you know
to myself i will be true
therefore i will continue to suffer the
pains i do in my feet and hands
my back is burning today
mostly upper right back
and as time is passing
is spreading over the left side
my cross i still carry
your Love keep me afloat
as my blessings
are what i must focus
on

Eva,
I believe we are "chosen". You know what that word means all too well. He is asking much of us. We/you are very "special" in His sight. Giving all this to Him is what you do each day. Oh what joy we bring to Him when we accept what God permits. We will know perfect joy; just not yet.

The beauty shared in your writings Ger and Eva, are blessing to me. God is life and love, the staple of my being. Through Him and in Him am I able to subsist.

Eva and I write of the comfort of being embraced by flannel shirt clothed strong arms by which The Father enfolds us.

We live where there is pain, disappointment, love, joy,accomplishment, and through all I know God brings fulfillment to me.

thank you for what i am to receive today

it is here we remember what we have
in our lives that has blessings all over it
my family for one
my grandchild who loves me with all her
little beating heart
yesterday she was expressing to me
that she understands pain
somehow at the bottom of the toddler pool
must have had sand that was like glass particles
and the tips of her fingers are scratched to the raw
point
she was having pain in her fingers and how
we have something in common
sometimes she'll say her neck hurts
to cute
oh and the conversations we have
priceless
there is a story i tell no lie
and it goes like this
i yet was not inflicted in anyway with physical pain
working nights
Corissa was not yet in school
i want to say she was about three
maybe younger
i asked her to please pick up her toys
and my child my last responds
"i can't, my back hurts"
that could have been the precursor
and i thaught it was cute
rather than see she was working me
she knew she had my heart
now seventeen
miss i know it all
still trying to get her to
get her GED
just do that
one thing at the time
just like everything else
one day at a time

it is to hot to go to the pool today
temp. with heat index is due to be over 100 degrees
so we are home bound after all
we really did not get weather
that would let us go
there has been so much rain
and cloudy days
this summer is a loss to ratio
of monies to join and the nasty weather
it's a loss
anyhow
we will take what ever is left weather wise
for the pool my grandchild
has a blast
today i am blessed to not be in that
dark place
withdrawals are pretty much over
that to a blessing
i am wishing all a good day

Dear Eva,

My 2 1/2 year old Grandson, who lives with me - with his mother - is a source of Wonder every day as he learns, develops and masters new things. It has been instant potty training this past fortnight, just 3 accidents due to not tucking 'it' down Bright boy. Every evening he waters the plants in his Container Garden we set up for him. 2 days ago he ate his first home-grown strawberry (birds got the others before we got netting). That strawberry cost me about $18, I hope we get some more

This weekend my little Granddaughter comes over. Joy unbounded! She has been making great strides in her development, too.

The Little Ones and all the Friends on this Forum, can't do without either now.

Thank you for what I am about to receive today

I have such mindful wonderful friends here
The joy of the little ones ARE priceless
Little Eva has a gift I believe
The purpose of her little mind is filled
with wonderful ideas and thoughts when I
ask her what are you thinking of
She will proceed to close her eyes and tell me
how she is making her brain think about the fireworks seen
on the Fourth of July
And she squeezes them tightly and shouts out
I see it mimma I can see the fireworks
my brain let me do it

Gods gifts for sure
Last night before bed
she wanted to write in her marble book
We do all kinds of things
Connect the dots
The abc or one two threes
Draw hearts and make them into
faces
She has a special connect with me
I believe it is because the time spent together
is not superficial
But of substance
And I make her be in charge
And a good job is listening to every
single word that comes out of her mouth
And I LISTEN TO EACH AND EVERY WORD SHE UTTERS
she loves it when we make up stories and hers is celebrated
Nothing can compare to the joy a young innocent child looking
for approval or a positive respond
The innocent smile the innocent natural love
that exudes from her
This (mimma) wouldn't have it any other way
She is gifted this I recognized and encourage
Reading one of her loves
And I am happy to help her in any way
And allowing her the once in a while time we can escape
