Enjoyed the pictures Sandy! So far I have only had 2 kids -- friends of mine. That is a good idea about handing out the candy. I let the other two pick, but will hand out the rest.

Sox -- I am sorry about your kids. It seems as if they would have put your son on tamiflu. That is what they are giving to kids here that have the flu. Although I have heard that they are running short of pediatric tamiflu. Take care!

We've had a group of six and three individual trick or treaters so far this evening. I'm surprised people are letting their kids go this year....what with the flu threats and all.

It's misty and cool here. I doubt we'll get many more.

DS22 (bless his heart) opted not to go to the GA Southern party this year and came home. He got here about an hour ago. Surprised me! He said he thought about it being Halloween and didn't want me home alone. Awwww, what a sweetie.

He's watching a movie and we'll have pizza for supper.

Sox, I hope your kids feel better soon. And I hope the rest of your family doesn't get sick, too. Praying hard for ya'll.

Happy Halloween!

Here's a night time look. A little blurry but I tried. It's kind of creepy how the moving lights were caught.

This one I threw in because of the lights and what they did when I moved the camera. If you look closely you can see the skull lights reflecting from the window.

Have had about 40 kids -- running out of candy because I have been giving each one two or three treats. One little urchin (about two) walked in the house and proceeded to cough all over me as I was bent down putting candy in his pumpkin. Great parents! Another woman had a baby in a buggy (infant) and was getting candy. She was by herself with the baby. People are strange! People are pulling up in vans. I also have had a few college students.

I didn't get many Barb. I think we're done for the night. Now I have a half a bowl of candy left. Ugh. No one walked in our house but my dog kept running out to greet everyone. lol One little girl, couldn't have been more than three, refused to leave the porch until she could "ding ding." I walked her to the doorbell and helped her stretch her little arm up to hear the doorbell go off. She smiled so big! Too cute! Those are the kiddies we do this for right?

That mom with the baby should be ashamed. haha

I finally got a chance to log in and read/post. My youngest son has the H1N1 flu. He was doing ok, just fever and body aches. I pushed fluids at him till the kid was running to the potty every 5 minutes! On the 3rd day we could not get his fever down. Ibuprofen and Tylenol were not kicking in and his temp was spiking at 104. Lucky the clinic got him in and ran blood test. They wanted to rule out mono and strep. The doc laughed that at least he wasn't dehydrated! Which was a good thing I pushed the fluids, cause when the Tylenol finally worked he started sweating buckets! I have washed his blankets 6 times in 3 days. Not sure he will be able to go back to school on Monday. His temp is still over 100 with meds.

We only had a few trick or treaters. Last year we had close to 100 kids, but tonight only 20. Can you freeze chocolate? I bought 3 5lb bags of minis at Sam's and we only used 1/2 of one bag!

Mom's been rushed to the hospital this morning. I don't know what is wrong yet except she's staring into space. They are running a ct scan and blood work. I'll update when I know something.
