Well, it's still raining here.

My tomato plants have exploded with cherry tomatoes! All this rain is good for them! If I could only get out there and pick them without getting soaked! Ah.....I won't melt!

Took my car yesterday for the warranty repair. They did an overall checkup also and my little car got an "A"!! Bless it's heart......

While I was waiting I had a salesman show me some new cars with the 20 year / 200,000 warranties on them. I told him I was not willing to pay more each month....well, maybe up to $20 a month more.....but everything he showed me would have been about $80 a month more. I would have gotten a new car.....but I just couldn't commit myself to that. I told him my car is fine so I'll just wait a while. He said to come back in December when they're trying to get rid of all the 2009 models. Mine is a 2007 so I can still get a good trade-in value for it.

Oh, Sandy, I meant to tell you that your little frog is precious! He looks so cute posing there on that rock!

Morning all Beautiful day here too.

Trying to psych myself up to go to the grochery store. Coffee and creamer stock in the cupboards are low. So need to get going here soon. Wrote my list in order of where the stuff can be found in the sequential aisles to try to minimize backtracking. It's great having a place that doesn't change where you can find stuff too often.

Hubby is helping a friend find his cat. They need to fumegate the house, so just when they need to get him the most - the fur baby went into hiding. Typical

the last couple of weeks of tests and results .. and new dx ... isn't going to stop me from enjoying this beautiful day!!

getting ready for a road trip up north ... stopping at a quilt shop (it's like my home away from home!!) ... then up to the Barn Dance to spend with friends and family!!

Yes Kelly, I can relate... too much rain here too! My cherry tomatoes are bursting open from too much water. Many are not edible. I think I just may pull the plants and prep the bed for next spring.

Not much going on here due to rain. Went out to eat and DH ended up with a migraine. We think he is sensitive to foods prepared in peanut oil and possibly MSG added for seasoning on fries.

Gonna finish reading posts and go curl up with a book.

Not really a sports fan here, but our NIU Huskies beat Purdue today. DH saw it and said it was pretty impressive because Purdue is a very good team.

Morning all! Jim and I are having coffee and getting ready to face the day. We're headed out to my cousin's house for a going away party. He's leaving for Iraq soon. Then we'll leave and head to Milwaukee for the Cubs game tomorrow.

Wiz, can you believe that game? We didn't watch because, well, never thought that would happen! LOL Purdue? Wow is all we can say about that one.

Another rainy Sunday here. We've got rain forecast for the entire next week! South Atlanta is having some BAD flooding problems. They showed a Jeep floating down a flooded street! Good thing I don't live near any creeks.

I braved it and went to the grocery store this morning. We were just out of everything. Ughh......everything is so expensive it seems.

It stopped raining long enough for me to run out and check the garden. I got 5 tomatoes and 1 jalapeno pepper. The watermelon is still out there and seems to be getting bigger but it's still too small to pick. No more cucumbers, though.

It's a great day to take a nap so I think that's on my "to do" list for today! At least I know I'll get that accomplished.

Had an exciting day -- grocery shopping, laundry, changing of sheets on bed, grading, and preparing for one of my classes tomorrow. My legs are really bothering me today. My left leg is "normally" stiff from the knee down, but today, I can feel the stiffness from the hip down. Plus, I am having occasional spasms in both legs. I am hoping that I will be back to my usual stiffness tomorrow.

Kelly, It has been rain here for most of the day too. They are forecasting rain for the entire week.

Since this has been a quiet day here, I hope it means that you are all doing something fun!

well, the Barn Dance was a fun time by all ... and I met a bunch of new people and sure enjoyed myself ...

and I met someone ... single, owns his own business, quite involved with his community ... knows everybody! I don't think he ever met a crazy woman like me before! he asked for my number ... so the wait begins!!

he knows that I want to move up north ... and that I am looking for a place to rent - he was VERY interested about all that!

people that knew him would say things to him what a 'sweetheart' I am .. and some would tell me what a 'great' guy he is ... there was this 'unofficial' match-making going on ... so, guess I'll just wait and see!

he already told me that he'd see me next year at the Polish Heritage Days - and I said that I didn't want to wait THAT long ... LOL

the trees haven't really 'turned' yet ... but, they are starting to!

Yesterday was a full day. We had to drop off one of my pieces for a show next weekend. Luckily got it in seconds before we had a downpour.

Then stopped by a friends house. They have learned the hard way that a couple of tomato plants would've been ok, lol. Their garden has had a tomato explosion. They also gave us an old desk of theirs, so that was also cool.

We had lunch/dinner at the winking lizard after that, which was fun.

Zonked out for a little while when we got home. I have learned when I emotionally feel like a four year old, a nap is definitely in order.

Raining today, so hoping I can catch up on some housework. Hope everyone has a good day.
