started the Copaxone... April 27, 2007 - never missed a day (over 2 years) .. until today ... the neuro thinks it's what is causing the elevated liver enzymes - which my GP already determined (sorta) that it's the rheumatoid arthritis ...

it's all a guessing game .. and I'm the guinea pig ...

Exciting news...my ds(almost 20) is bringing home is new girl. He met her
at school only 3 weeks ago. They are coming for the weekend. He hasnt
had a girlfriend in almost a year and a half. We adored his last , they
were together for two years. She was very very smart, pretty and oh
so very together. She was part of our family.

So...........it will be fun and interesting to see who his new friend is.

Anyway, its something Im looking foreward to. Ive missed him and its
only been a few weeks!

Hi all! Doing a quick check in on my break from studying. Have a test tomorrow and some things are just not sticking in this brain damaged head. LOL

Vonn - Glad to hear you got approved for the program. That must be such a relief for you.

Barb - DD18 was telling me that one of the guys in her dorm that she hangs out with had H1N1. Within the 1st week of school there were 13 confirmed cases. I am not sure what it is up to now as it's been a few weeks. Keeping you and your family in my prayers.

Sandy - I hear you on those little ones. I can't believe those parents. Glad you guys had a great time at the game. Have a safe trip back home.

quick update: my GP just called me ... to tell me that a rheumatologist will be calling to set up an appointment ...

and then he added that he done these additional tests ... and it came up POSITIVE for LUPUS! I told him that my neuro has me off of the Copaxone for a week to re-take more blood! (will I have any left??) LOL

any info is greatly appreciated!! hugs-a-bunch

Don't panic about Lupus yet. That is even harder to dx than MS. My SIL has been dx'd, undx'd, redx'd and undx'd again with Lupus. It is similar to MS in that they don't have one definitive test.

at least I'll have all my blood tests done before I get married!! LOL

Evenin', all! Is there a state where it doesn't get below freezing in the winter and it's about 80 in the summer? I am dreading this winter...

I did a boo boo today. I spent almost 45 minutes making out forms for my inlaws' prescriptions and sent them off, only to realize later that I'd mistakenly sent the neighborhood pharmacy's 14-day script to the 90 day mail order place...so my DH called to get a new 14 day script called in, and I have to call to tell the mail order place what I did...boy, tears were spilled big time; DH was so great about it, but I felt so stupid!! I used to be able to do the checkbook, the meds, appts, all of this, but now my brain is scrambled eggs...

I hope that all in the south get a dry spell soon...the videos are awful.

Wiz, if you get a job in Naperville, we can do lunch!! Praying that you get a job soon...
