Nothing planned for the day. I lied yesterday and ended up cleaning the pond. But today I will rest, at least that's the plan. hahaha

Jenn, I haven't had a migrane in years. I really think mine were hormone induced since I haven't had one since I had my hysterectomy. I still have my ovaries but for some reason the migranes went away with the baby box. haha

More beatin' and bangin' today. These guys are good and very much know their carpentry skills for such young guys(mid 20s).

Barb, take it easy and rest. I am fighting a sore throat and cough... hope its just allergies from having the windows open all the time the last couple days.

Fin, hope the headache is better. My DH gets migraines because of food sensitivity. We know peanut butter sets them off. Still trying to figure out what else does. He tried Imitrex for a couple of years...didn't do a thing for them. We also think he gets them when his blood sugar drops too low.

It is hot and humid here today... as one of the guys said it feels like breathing in water today. We actually had fog so dense the visiblity was terrible early this morning. Of course with all the windows open I turned off the AC and now my left side is numbish/tingly and vision is blurry. I need to go find my neck cooling wrap.

I think I caused my own migraine, lol! Hubby pointed out that I forgot to take an allergy med before I did some major dusting wednsday. Nothing like a cog fog moment that makes you pay for it in spades.

Dust is definitely one of those major players in my long list of allergies, so it was my own fault. Especially with the other allergies being bad this time of year. Ah well, live and learn

So did no dusting today, LOL!

Fin, does a humidity headache feel as if the front part of your head is in a vise? I feel like that today...took sinus OTC med a little while ago...I hope it eases this vise. Makes me feel so poopy...

Went to the neuro's seminar last night with DH...I was honestly underwhelmed. A young woman from the Illinois chapter of the MSS who is a "site navigator" gave a lecture...she pretty much just followed her slide presentation, which didn't give much info for anyone except those who needed financial help...after she finished, my neuro and his chief nurse asked her questions that gave us more info...the young lady needs to flesh out her presentation a bit.

Went to get lab work that pcp wanted done...cholesterol, thyroid, liver panel, etc. It took almost an hour before I was taken...threw off my med schedule, which probably didn't help the headache and jerky legs. Oh well, nothing done again around the house...but it's Friday, which is always good news, right?

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend...for those of you in the north part of the country, enjoy these weekends. Pretty soon all of those leaves will be on the ground, and we'll wonder where autumn went

Just hanging out until rush hour is over. I'll be heading over to DBF's. Had to go in to the dr and wouldn't ya know it, I have another sinus infection. I knew I did. I knew it a week ago and just put it off but last night and this morning the between the headache and other nasty stuff I didn't want to go through the weekend like this. Here's to another round of abx. UGH! This trend has to stop as I don't want to have to have surgery to get that cyst removed. I know the culprit. It has 4 legs and long hair.

Debbie, actually I know I'm getting a sinus migraine when it goes from a little pressure to feeling like someone is stabbing me right between the eyes. Then all the other migraine signs come right after that. Nine times out of ten, if I catch the pressure feeling soon enough and take meds - It won't go into migraine mode. Thursday's explosion started before I realized it due to being a ninny and forgetting about the dusting, so the meds didn't dent it until way past the point of no return.

(Side note: If the pressure becomes constant,hurts a little, and the sinuses have dryed up - that's usually my indication of an infection. Since I have chronic sinitus due to my wide range of allergies, have learned the little signals my head gives me after decades of this stuff )

Stress migraines always start in the back of the head for me, then I feel like I'm wearing a tight rubberband around my head, then BAM! So far excerderin is the only med that puts any kind of dent in those.

Trish, hope the meds help.

The preview show was pretty cool last night. A lot of talent in this group show! Of course anything hubby liked was sold by the time we saw it, LOL! Which was a good sign for the show since it was within the first opening hour.

Hoping the rain doesn't keep people away today. May stop by there for a little while today depending on how I feel.

Morning all! I'm planning to do a little cleaning today and maybe take a look at that checkbook I've been ignoring. If I ignore it I don't stress. haha We're planning to go to the local flea market tomorrow. We've never been to it because it's a new thing at the fair grounds. The weather is supposed to be 75 and sunny so it should be a good day.

Jim started back on his Beta last night. He took half of the summer off just to see if he felt better. He did and he didn't so we started back. I hate these shots and he hates them more but not knowing if they are working or not keeps us injecting.

Thanks, I think I am doing a bit better. Plain old robitussin is working better than the codiene cough med at slowing down the cough (as long as I do not talk). I still have a low grade temperature that seems to come and go. I am just trying to take it easy.
