Bright and sunny here this morning. Tigger is lovin' the sun spot under the table!

Enjoy your time off, Sarah. I used to enjoy vacation days spent at home. Just seemed more relaxing and I could go at my own pace and do alot or do nothing. It was just nice to have time at home.

Sandy, what have ya'll heard today? Anything new?

DS26 said he'd try to stop by today for lunch. He's working so I never know if he'll make it or not.

I've cleaned out more drawers and closets.....have a huge pile in the garage for my sale. I've thrown out about six garbage bags full of stuff. Why was I holding onto this stuff?? Funny thing.....I watched a show on hoarders yesterday and I think that made me even more determined to get rid of stuff I don't use. I'm by no means a hoarder....in fact, I think I'm all the way on the other end of the spectrum. I throw away stuff and then wish I had it back!

I had to get this pic of Tigger under the table. What a life..............

Mom isn't better. Not sure what the doctor will do today. :-(

Jim is sick so we can't travel. I also canceled my hearing test for tomorrow because my cold hasn't cleared and well, not sure what we're doing about mom.

Sandy

Prayers for you and your family going up. Your Mom's where she needs to be. Even if you were right there with her there isn't anything much you could do but wait. I know it's hard to want to be somewhere else and not be able to get there. Your sister's there with her, right? You and Jim take care of yourselves so your cold doesn't blossom into anything worse. I hope they keep Mom right where she is until they figure out what's causing the seizures.

Good Morning all! We are still battling the flu with youngest son. The school had told us they had a few swine flu cases, but this is lasting longer than that usually does. My neighbor is a PA and she thinks he has the seasonal flu. Our medical clinic no longer does testing to determine type, they just hand you Tamiflu and off you go. They did rule out mono and strep though.
He is some better and temp is staying under 102. I just hate he is missing so much school.

Sandy, prayers and hugs for you and your mom.

At least we are having beautiful weather here all week. I have the windows open and letting the house air out.

to all!

Good morning everyone! Another busy day planned. Working on my month end reports - all are typed and sent back but waiting on a few more to come in. Then trying to figure out how the heck to fix my hair. I tried dying it myself last night and the color is too red for my fair skin. A couple of times a year I go in and have the gray streak "blended." I have the weirdest streak. I also have a reverse skunk thing going on - crown is real light brown, everywhere else is dark blonde with medium blonde streaks so picking a color is hard. The girl I go to never charges me full price. She tweaks the price for me (like saying I got a cut & style). Anyhow, I saw the dye on sale for 2 for $6 and decided to do it myself. UGH!!! Thank goodness it was a semi-permanent color and should wash out fairly quick. LOL

Fin - I have essential tremors (familial) as well as MS tremors. I can't tell the difference but the neuro can (intention/postural tremors vs. essential tremors ???). My mom has essential tremors (severe) so it runs in the family (I have them, my brother does, my cousin does, etc.). They are frustrating when they act up. I don't know how many times I have poked myself in the eye trying to get mascara on. LOL. The MS tremors (intention) will make my hand jerk in a totally different direction thereby creating a beautiful black line of mascara. LOL Hang in there! I can totally relate to what you are going through.

Sox - PMing you my addy as I love whoopie pies. Yum!!! LOL

Kelly - LMAO!!! I don't know how many times I have thrown something away and wished I hadn't or actually needed it. DDs love to hang on to everything, me I like to get rid of everything. I like things simple and to a minimum. Less work in the long run. Good luck cleaning out. I know you will feel so much better when it is done.

Sandy - How's your mom doing? Do you have the results yet? Sending you lots of cyber's.

Sarah - Yeah!!! Vacation! Rest up and enjoy your time off. Oh, I remember those raking the leaves days. LOL Of course with a family of 10 it didn't take too long to get it all done but we sure did complain until we started playing and jumping in to the piles.

I better get busy here. It is already 9:00 a.m. and I have much to do before more work comes in. Have a great day everyone!

glad to see you posting, Jenn - I was getting worried ...

Sandy - thoughts and prayers for you .. please, stay calm - and keep a clear mind ... please don't let the stress win ... it's hard, I know ..

going to do a bit of grocery shopping ... and more quilting ...

have a great day everyone ... OH, the lip is healing fine!!

It's Natural Instincts. I think it is made by Clairol. It only deposits color and I read that you can use Dawn to help wash it out. I will be doing that this morning to see what happens. Hey, if Dawn is gentle enough to use on animals after an oil spill, then it should be gentle enough for hair, right? LOL That's good to know I can retry within 24 hours.
