Barb, at the beginning of each main path they have info that includes the number to the ranger station. Cell reception was still pretty good, so I knew that would've been a last resort option. I think it was the not wanting to call them to tell them I was stuck that kept me going.

I snuggled with my heating pad yesterday evening and the leg is doing much better now.

It's a gloomy cloudy day today. Trying to figure out what to do today.

As to the sneezing thing, mine are always powerful. I get jealous at some of the people I know who can do the small "achoo". Mine is more like "ACHOOOOO!", and can be heard through out a building. When I worked in a large office space, the people on the other side of the floor definitely knew when my allergies were acting up.

Morning all. It's raining and blah here. No big plans but to get my hair done next door at noon. I just ordered my hepa filters for my room air cleaners. It's already musty and smells in the house. I hate winter because of that.

Morning everyone! Checking in real quick before I start painting. I really need to get this painting done by the end of the weekend. It's a wedding gift for my niece who got married at the end of August. I finally got her new color scheme from my sister so now I can apply the colors to the painting.

This afternoon, I may go in to see my dad. He is still in ICU and in A LOT of pain. They are really cracking down on the amount of visitors due to the flu (influenza & H1N1). He is allowed 2 visitors. I told my mom this morning that I will probably wait until he is out of ICU and in a regular room. She'll call me after she gets down there and let me know. I know when I am in a lot of pain I don't want visitors at all. My dad is the same way and I totally respect that.

Ladies - My allergies are acting up this morning after I swept my patio. I have been sneezing like crazy and have not "leaked" at all. Are you'll jealous. lol j/k

hey all ... Trish - glad to hear that your dad came thru the surgery!! hospitals are where people go when they are sick ... and your dad needs to feel better ... understandable about the hospital's precaution with too many visitors ... stay calm - you don't need to get sick either!!

I did add a note to the 'Quilts and more' page about requesting a quilt for someone ... even when I'd have to send out a donated quilt, I have to track it like an order, right?

Awww! I didn't mean to be mean. I think if I did not have MS bladder retention issues I'd be the same way. As it is now, I have to hurry up and wait just for a few of drops. I do this about 10 times a morning with maybe 5 good "streams." Maybe I have an overactive/underactive(??? not sure which) sphincter. The messages get so mixed up.

When I had my urodynamics done she filled the bladder to full capacity and wanted me to empty. I'll be danged if I couldn't go. We waited and waited; she left the room thinking it was "performance" anxiety, still nothing happened. She was freaking out. Finally I emptied 300cc more than what she put in. LOL
