Went to see "Morning Glory." Dianne Keaton and Harrison Ford are in it. I enjoyed it. No violence and I laughed. I would give it three out of four stars. Then we went out to dinner for Thai. We split Pad Thai and cashew chicken. So I am now full of rice and noodles.

Hello everybody!!! :grouphug:

Just checking in and I hope everyone is doing ok! I worked all day with a sinus migraine today! I'm so glad to be home! I'll never skip my allergy medicine again! :o

We have an early Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow with my family and then we have another with DH's family on Thursday.

The busy season for work is starting. :eek:

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Good Morning! :)

Nothing much planned today. I'll probably start wrapping the few presents I already have and put them back up in the closet.

I still need to get a few ingredients for Thanksgiving dinner but will wait till later in the week to do that. We aren't having our family dinner until Sunday so I have a few extra days to prepare.

My neighbor who lives in the center house in the cul de sac is getting a new roof and they've been working on it since Friday. I sort of figured yesterday was the last day. Nope......they were back at it bright and early this morning. :rolleyes: The nail gun woke me up at 7:15 AM! :eek: Guess I'll probably take a nap later today. :p

I put a cardboard box on the floor in the sunroom and Tigger and Panda have been having a ball in it. What is it about plain old boxes that just fascinate cats? I laid it on it's side and they can walk in and out...sort of like a fort. Panda took all the little cat toys out of the basket I keep them in and took them one by one and put them into this box. So cute to watch! :)

Everyone have a wonderful Sunday. :grouphug:

Hi all .. had a VERY long day yesterday - and I was having 'walking' issues ... couldn't wait to get home and go to bed ... it helped ... but, even standing opening up a pizza - I get stiff .. and turning to walk is interesting ...

going to concentrate on painting all winter ... the interest is there for the barn quilts ... excited to attend my first quilt show in April as an artist ... maybe my next home should be a trailer ... so I can relocate anywhere I want to ...

having 'stay-put' issues ... but, that's okay ..

HUGS all around and overseas!! :hug:

exhausted is my word of the day. All my company finally left. I have seen more folks in the last 5 days than I have in the last 2 years! I realized I was being a brat, and stomping my feet with my "leave me alone" mood. I managed to turn it around, and threw out the welcome sign. Everyone had a good time, and we all got a chance to catch up. Everyone is now satisfied that I am ok, and they feel they can leave me on my own.

Dont tell, but it wore me to the bone! I am exhausted, spent, wiped out. I am almost trembly from the over exertion. I have put my painting plans on hold and will simply relax and chill out till I get more stability behind me. Company can wear ya out.

Hugs and prayers for all who need um. :hug:

hey all, sorry been away... missed you all!!

Just work, kids, pain etc... hehehe

I am off this past few days and next few till black friday.. on a vacation time... been enjoying some home stuff and kids... did a trip to the childrens museum.. few weeks ago I took my oldest son to see Dane Cook in Green Bay that was awesome!!!

I am currently slowly weaning off baclofen... I am having so much pain and soreness in muscles... and I am thinking of seeing if any of the stiffness comes back if off baclofen.. cause if not ... no sense in being on it long term ...

I was sent by neuro to a physioneuro...( or a physical pain rehab specialist from brain and spine center) my neuro thought maybe he would have more idea... of what I can do since in so much pain... with the muscles.. etc..

well waste of time... he talked to me a lot... checked a few things..said what I describe over the years of stiffness and pain does not to him sound like spasticity... and said my neuro must know that.... hmmmm

then said he has nothing to offer me... as his stuff is neuro related and apparently he does not think my stuff is neuro...related... I think...

he was saying he does not know what is causing all this... and that he would rather be up front and honest then saying maybe it is this or that.. if he does not know... so I commend him on that part....

but I was rather disappointed in neuro sending me there, or this doctor not saying much to me crying in pain.. describing how I can not sleep now on my sides otherwise my shoulder side of arms get severe pain... and told him about the left side numbness/pain stuff....

guess only answer he had was some more PT... or see a pain management doctor.. I think that was what he mentioned... I was too in tears I will call his office if want to go for either of those.. right now I owe PT money from spring time visit.... ugggg

anyhow sorry vented there... I miss you all... and living the best I can with what my body gives me... just in a mode of wanting to be at peace... I would never do something to self... just sometimes pray maybe time for me to be at peace in heaven.... although I know I have so many precious kids and hubby to hang with for many more years.... just this is how bad the pain gets.... you all deal with this stuff too.. so know I can talk about stuff... lvoe you all, sarah

holly, jenn, pam, sandy and jim, all of you have a great week!

Well, we have 16 dozen pierogis in our freezer for christmas eve thanks
to a long day put in by my dm, df, db, dsil, dh and all our kiddos.
Next to start my cookies! tomorrow!

Saturday we had an amazing day with our scouts. We spent four hours
at a horse rescue farm just learning about the horses and what they do!
The horses were all such sweet sweet beings, just walked up to you and
started nuzzling.

We ended with a hayride at sunset...just a beautiful place. My troop has
decided to be in the balloon parade with them. They will walk behind and
pick up the poo! They seriously loved these animals.

My dd , her friend, my co-leader and myself will be taking their volunteer
orientation. I have to say I was so relaxed when I left that I am looking
foreward to spending time with the horses.

Here is a link if you are interested in checking it out.

:D Sox, I had to read your post several times......I could have sworn you said "Well, we have 16 dozen pigeons in our freezer for christmas eve". I finally got it right......:o. It's pierogis. :p

It's cloudy and overcast here today. Thanksgiving is supposed to actually be kind of cool. Usually it's unseasonably warm.

Not doing much today. I got laundry and other chores done yesterday. I have a new Danielle Steel book so I'll probably be reading that most of the day.

Everyone enjoy their Monday! :grouphug:

FinLady 11-22-2010 09:57 AM

Sox, I shall invade your home for homemade perogies :D Definitely the best.

Sarah, :hug::hug: Sorry to hear everything's still up in the air

Kitty, Sorry to hear your neighbors are waking you up in the morn.

Dej, even though you didn't get the "me" time, glad you have a large support group who cares. :hug:

Vonn, glad you are keeping on :)

Everyone, :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug:

~~~~~~~~
Got a cold :p Knocking my symptoms for a loop. Knock on wood that the medicine I picked up helps
Found out the reason for the tooth/infection drama. Apparently my old root canal fractured -- straight down the middle of the root. Caused the original infection on one side which jumped to the next. Luckily mostly clear, but looks like I'm gonna have to totally lose that one. ick. ick. ick.
So that's my day so far, LOL!
Supposed to get up to 70 today, probably the last warm one before the snow. :)
Take care everyone!!
