oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, for posting NaeNae!

I'm soooooo glad hubby's home, and on the mend!

and I really appreciate you taking the time to keep us updated, 'cause you KNOW we all worry 'bout ya!

now, remember what I said, and take care of YOURSELF too...

rest extra, and don't try to do everything...

move slow, breathe deep, and let others help.

don't be afraid to ask, because we don't want YOU falling apart after such a stressful thing.

and convey my well-wishes to your hubby, let him know we're all pulling for him to get better quickly.

we wanna see THIS:

not THIS, okay?

you said a MOUTHFUL there, girl!

I had a couple of kids like that, and the only solution is to keep them busy, and keep their minds active.

an OUNCE of prevention is worth a POUND of cure with bright chitlins!

good job, TK.

cruddy news from the jungle, kiddies.

and a caveat... I need to learn to LISTEN to my own advice!

ya know how I'm always saying to people here to move SLOWLY?

well, I was hurrying this evening. (ooops!)

while prepping the bunny carrots and celery, I discovered that hubby had harvested a HUGE hand of Manzana bananas... and left them on my work table.

in today's heat, they were getting close to OVER-ripe.

gotta take care of those, PRONTO !!

and I hadn't yet fed the animals, but I thought, "Well, I'll just quickly process these into the dehydrator... just take a few minutes..."

whipped through 9 trays of slicing, and then hurried off to the bunnies' cages, 'cause it was dusk, and the light disappears QUICKLY in the tropics, because we're so near the equator.

I don't like to be outside after dark, 'cause there's THINGS out there, oooooga-boooooga, big ol' spiders and snakes and other scary stuff.

I was hurrying... and I accidentally stepped OFF the edge of the path, and wrenched my left ankle.

ow, ow, ow, ow, owie OUCH !!

luckily, I have a top-notch first aid kit, and am now wearing a sturdy ankle support stocking.

but the lil bugger's throbbing like an SOB.

looks like I'd better start using my AFOs again.

...SIGH...
