no gators, crocs, leopards or ocelots here... we're too far from the river, and too close to the village.

however, we DO have Jaguarundi, howler monkeys, and huge boa constrictors.

Good morning all Yep, back with my usual cup of coffee.

Yesterday was a bad day and I was being hard on myself. Hubby agrees that I am my own worst enemy sometime, lol.

Every little thing drained a ton of energy, and took a couple of naps per hubby's advice. I felt bad 'cuz there was so much I planned and wanted to do, but just wasn't happening. Hubby is a sweetie and reminded me that he understands that my limits have changed. He joked that it was never boring, because we don't know what a new day will bring with this wacky disease.

I enjoyed everyone's posts, just a little cog-foggy here - so if I miss anyone, sorry.

~~~~~
Sarah, totally understand the tears, especially after you worked somewhere for so long. Still hope the new job becomes a good thing.
Kay, never a dull moment in the jungle. Rest up and take care of yourself
Frank, glad to see I'm not the only stubborn one, lol.
never hesitate to ask for clarification, mah deah!
lol Frank, I think we ALL have cog-fog, to one degree or another.
hubby called me (10 minute heads-up) for breakfast this morning, and I was so involved on the computer, I forgot all about it!
20 minutes later, he brought me my plate of cold scrambled eggs.
I think it hurt his feelings, him thinking I was ignoring him, ouch!
that thing on the satellite-assisted ruins dig, no, mi esposo was a computer geek (now a farmer), not an archaeologist... but we know a couple of the folks working at various digs, and they're very excited about it.
we're about 3/4 of a mile uphill from the river, too far for the river-beasties to crawl, thankfully.
Frank, you take time out for you too!
Fin, sorry you had a bad day. We all do. Your hubby sounds like a sweetie.
Kay, awww, you have a good hubby too!
Renee, hoping hubby is feeling better today.
Hope everyone has a good day today. I scrubbed and polished my wood floor in the living room yesterday. It needed it bad and I probably need a professional before I sell the house. Today is a finish the laundry day.
amen... he's really a good guy, and I'm lucky.
he even said I drove good, when I'm pretty sure he was almost as scared at ME !!
but I feel sorry for him right now, because he's seeing me fall apart at the moment.
I've been really cranky the past three days.
the mega-stress of having to drive our old cantankerous farm truck didn't help.
I'm having tons of hot flashes this week, it's a veritable hot-flash-INSURGENCY.
I also got a visit from Frank's evil friend CHUCKIE !
my head feels like it's caught in Uncle Fester's play-toy:
I lost bowel-control this morning, and it took me half-an-hour to clean up the mess I made, and rinse out my clothes. (first problem in that area in a decade)
doing my animal-feeding chores this am was exquisitely painful on my throbbing ankle.
and (Frank, close your eyes!) something's wrong with my hoo-hah...
it HURTS, but not at a "go-to-the-ER" level.
I started on Gynelotrimin last night, thinking perhaps yeastie-beasties.
but I'm feeling no improvement yet.
wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, wah, WAH !!
Oh Kay, I am so sorry. You know what? I have those days too. I can wake up and know it's going to be an emotional day. Poor Jim, he just listens to me rant and rave and cry and vent. Thank God he never feels responsible and knows it's just overwhelming sometimes and we need to let it out. Menopause isn't helping either. lol
Its Sunday late evening, as many of you slumber, dreaming of visions, that bring smiles to your faces.
The house here is slowly falling silent, except for the tatter of my fingers on the keyboard, as i ponder the words to put down on paper.
Another week has passed, and i have gained more insight to my illness, to which I say, learning is always good. I have also had the pleasure of advancing my friendships this past week, to which I again must add growing is always good.
We enjoyed good news , cayo can still drive an oval track with the best of them
Renee is at home with her hubby home from successful surgery
us stubborn ones over doing it as we do, yet we know it, so I guess that good, instead of wondering how come I feel this way. I at least know why I feel like LUMP
Vonn my snow bound friend I hope all is well with you
TK I hope your having fun and or are back and enjoyed your weekend, sorry cant remember a weekend or week how long you were going away for
Jim howdy Sandy Howdy hope you all have a wonderful coming week
everyone sleep well dream big and rest easy, for in the morn the day shall arrive anew, with it, new adventures, and wonders to be enjoyed by all
peace
