well, I'm baaaaaaaaaaaack !!

whew!

I made it, and am still alive, kiddies!

went to the Ag Show, got some brochures, met some local farmers, made lots of good connections, bought some plants (royal and fan palms), and a woven wicker laundry basket, and some local organic chocolate, and some local jams and wines...

saw Brahma bulls, Muscovy ducks, Guinea hens, Embden geese, and some Boer goats.

I'm tired, but had a good time.

Frank, glad you're feelin' bettah, and didn't miss the grad.

Vonn, glad the wedding came off according to specs !

Barb, sorry I made ya tired... but I bet you're not as tired as ME !!

NaeNae, justice will come for you... it may not seem like it now, but I strongly believe in Karma... and "Do as you would be done by."

so his actions WILL come back on him... maybe not as soon as, or in the particular manner that you'd prefer, but I promise, it'll happen.

and hold your head high, you'll get through this if you lean on us, and let us hold you up for a while and lend you a little strength... remember, we love you, and are all praying for you to get through this with charm and grace.

I'm TOTALLY going to bed now, too tired to even hang out online.

:hug::grouphug::hug:

love yas.

that was my biggest hangup about my ex how unfair it was to me and kids, the old saying what comes around goes around is true, took me some time to see it had already happened, my ex missed their first time with out training wheels learning to read hit a ball scoring the big td in school going to state for computer finals all the straight a report cards the first fall from a tree, first dates, all these somewhat small things, she never knew and will never know, its an odd sense of poetic justice

miss energy, stop chewing on the coca leaves:eek:

CayoKay 05-19-2008 06:06 AM

there's no coca growing here, that's further south, honey.

and... Miss Energy ??

more like Miss STAKE, lol!

go to bed early, and whaddayaknow? here I am, WIDE AWAKE, at the EVIL crack of dawn!

for every day I want to play, I set aside a day to PAY... (tx, AMN)

no more massive leg cramps, but I can TELL they're just ITCHIN' to go into full-on seizure-mode...

they feel all tight, and on the verge, yaknowwhatImeanjellybean ??

so, I'm going to SLEEP and rest in the hammock all day, and probably tomorrow too.

Mornin' everyone!

Kay, I wish I had one tenth of your energy....you put me to shame!! I do love all the pics you post on the Wok Wok thread, though. I did have four bunnies in my backyard this morning just before the sun came up but can never get a picture of them - they scare too easily.

Frank, I'm so glad you're feeling better. We all missed you while you were in the hospital.

Renee, I second what Kay said. Karma will come around. I've seen it happen. And like Frank said - the ex's are the true losers in the situation. The only advice I can give you is to try and keep things as calm as possible for the kids. As much as WE cannot understand why some things happen they are probably twice as confused as we are!

I have a doctor's appointment this morning so I'd better get rolling....takes me two hours to shower and get ready to go anywhere anymore. By the time I'm ready to go I'm ready for a nap!! :p

FinLady 05-19-2008 08:00 AM

Good morning all :) The sun is shining and the wind has finally died down. Might actually get a chance to play in the dirt today.

Hoping everyone's day goes well. :grouphug:

Vonn07 05-19-2008 08:27 AM

Renee ... it's really hard to let go to move forward - but like everyone said ...you don't need that baggage - and you have so much more without him and can make it ... you will be blessed beyond measure by keeping your head high and loving those two beauties in your arms!

Hi Kelly - I know the feeling .. all the energy when I get up, but by the time I get the shower, get ready and shot .. I'm ready for a nap - or just a break! LOL

********
have lots to do today - paperwork and shuffle and shred and print and mail and pay ... :Writting:

4th week in classes - both going good ...

did anyone see the house that was built in Louisiana last night on Extreme Home Makeover with Ty??? looked like a lighthouse to me!! way too cool! there still is hope for me yet!

tkrik 05-19-2008 08:44 AM

Barb - Well . . .How popular were you yesterday? I am sure Katie loved it and is very thankful for not only the gift certificate but the bracelet as well. What did you make the bracelet out of? I'd love to see pics if you have any.

Frank - You are a great dad. Good parents do that sort of thing for their kids. I would be demanding to leave the hospital too if there was something going on with DDs, especially their graduation.

Kay - Miss Stake! LOL. That's cute. Yes, when we over do it, it can take us a day or two or three or a week, LOL, to recuperate. That is one of my most frustrating things about MS. I can't go 90 mph on that freeway of life. I have learned that if I do, I will hit the Great Wall of MS Fatigue. I hope you get lots of rest today for your next adventure.

Hi Kelly! Good luck at the docs today.

Fin - I love to play in the dirt! I only have a cement garden. :( We will start working on DBF yard soon but that will be a challenge for me as the heat is ON. (100's). It will entail getting up by 6 in order to do some work and then stopping by 8 or 9 a.m. as it will be too hot for me. Have fun today.

I hope everyone has a good day.

SandyC 05-19-2008 10:07 AM

Hey everyone, just having coffee with Jim. I'll get him settled and then hit the tornado that blew through my basement last night. LOL The kids are home and moving rooms. Lordy, how did I accumulate so much?

Have a great day.

Morning :)
I made alot of progress in school this weekend and I also bought and planted my flower garden. This year I added lettuce, tomato and broccoli. One of the tomato bushes is already sprouting some fruit (it was a gift for my BD)....It was a wonderful weekend and I got some color on my WHITE skin :)

Hope all is well for everyone!
