thanks ... I was thinking about getting the ladder ... then had another thought and forgot about the ladder!
Maybe call them back to check it?

Good morning everyone! Had a cheese bagel from Panera for breakfast. Yum! I went to see a movie (27 Dresses) and out to dinner last night with friends. If you have not noticed from my posts, I eat out too much The movie was cute; not a great movie but we all enjoyed it.

I have been dealing with the dizzies (vertigo) the past few days. I am praying I am not having another flare. I am supposed to leave on Feb 9 to fly to Austin, Texas to spend a few weeks with my little sister (12 years younger) and the cutest niece in the world (she is 2 and extremely smart too and only a tad bit spoiled). Oh, my brother in law will be there too I have my 3rd tyssabri infusion on Feb 6th so I am also hoping that goes ok.

I hope everyone is having a good day. Did you guys see the post with the Irish music and pictures from Ireland. They were beautiful, but for some reason Irish music always makes me want to cry.

She has not entered many meets the past couple of years. Due to back problems, teenage growing patterns/hormones, etc., she peaked athletically as a freshman, and has not been able to attain personal best times for about 3 years.

However, she swam faster today than she has for quite some time, and felt good about how she ended her club swimming "career". She swam that fastest times that her current coach has ever observed her swim; she felt good about that, too.

She plans to swim on the high school team for the spring season, and will likely not swim competetively after that is over.

On the one hand, it feels kind of like the end of an era, and somewhat sad, but, on the other hand, it is also a relief that we will no longer be putting time and $ into her swimming.

Today, as we often do, we brought out own bag chairs to the meet. My MS makes me less and less able to navigate bleachers, so it was nice that we were able to find an empty spot on the floor to put our chairs.

Several years ago, she had thought that she would probably like to swim in college, but she has now ruled that out. I expect, though, that she will continue to enjoy swimming laps to keep fit.

It is sometimes hard when our children move from one phase to another.
My son recently suffered a life changing injury and is no longer Mr. Sports.
Our whole life has really changed as we used to have a game or more
every day. I feel for him and also have been feeling loss for myself.(I
cant really explain why) Good luck she sounds like a winner.

As for the nasty virus/cold/flu that is going around, yuck. We had
the stomach flu last week and this week a nasty virus. Im the last
one to get the cold and I feel like crud. I had to grocery shop this
a.m. because we were out of everything. I hadnt gone to the
store as everyone was sick.

So lugging two carts around at 7a.m. is not my idea of fun. But its all
put away and my dh took the little ones out and the older ones are
sleeping, so here I sit. AAHHHHH!

I hope everyone who is feeling under the weather starts to feel better
soon.

Have a nice Sunday all.

Good morning!

I'm just enjoying my second cup of coffee and taking it easy before I start painting. We are on the final leg of a now 7 month master bath/closet remodel. Once the painting is done today we can install the toilet and sink, and the bathroom will be done.

You have no idea how happy this will make me!

Have a great day everyone... I'm off to paint!

I'm working on my second cup of coffee,(thanks for joining me).DH had to head back early and didn't get to stay the whold week end.The weather went bad with freezing rain and they had to close I-84 so he had to make his way on back roads and mountain passes. I held my breathe for hours untill he called to say he made it okay. I should be up cleaning up last nights messes in case they call to show the house. All three of his girls, myself,my daughter and my granddaughter feel the absence with him gone. It's like he sucked the life out of the house when he left. Now....how about another cup of coffee?
