Would not go to the ER because I have a docs appt tomorrow morning which I told her LOL! mothers sheesh, and when Sandy gets into Momma Sandy mode...well Jim and I just have to gang up on her.....except he took her side today

Feeling much better today. Probably due to crashing on the couch last night shortly after I came online. LOL, forgot to sign out last night.

I have training today, and it's close to home. I'm very glad. Maybe I'll catch up on some things I need to do if everything stays going well.

It has been one of [B]those[B]mornings for me. I went into school to do some work and discovered I had left my glasses at home. I cannot read or work on the computer without them. Then I went out to my car and discovered a parking ticket. I forgot to put my handicap placard on. So then I had to walk to the campus police department in the rain to explain my "misbehavior." Due to campus construction there are no close parking places. Ok I am done *itching.

I am now going to watch the rain turn into snow and eat some chocolate for lunch

oh Barb .. so sorry ... don't you just want to put on some flannels and fuzzy socks and cuddle up on the couch and watch silly movies?

sorry about your day! .. I'm okay - just can't do a whole lot ... going to have to put on my 'chatting' blinders and do some homework ... and figure out some bills .. yuk!

hope your day gets better .. they've been closing schools all day .. closing at 1, cancelling night classes, 2 hrs early ... it's coming .. and it's nasty!

Well, I'm more than a care giver to my honey...I have some horrible problems with chronic pain...I am having a day to beat everyday before it...horrible pain...none funchtioning day...

oh GOSH, Tammy ... being the caregiver is an 'angelic' position to be in .. and it hurts so much when you need some care (I know.. been where you are with my mom) ... I didn't consider it angelic - but, I let her enjoy her days ... and to this day (over 13 years) I still get 'that' feeling that I 'dun good' ... altho at the time - I thought my life was non-existent to be there for her ... but, all is well .. and now, I'm where she was - and now I KNOW what the caregiver goes thru ...

is there a friend or family member that you can just 'dump' on?? if not - PM me just to unload ... you need to do things for YOU too .. that's what I didn't do ... and was bitter for about 4 years afterwards and didn't know how to socialize with my friends or relatives....

remember - that's why we are here .. because we DO care about each other! (HUGS)

ps - I'm far from perfect or have all the answers ... but, I continue to learn ...

Barb - YIKES! Talk about a bad day. At least it sounds as if it will end well. (Chocolate). LOL

Tamiloo - Oh dear! I'm sorry you aren't doing well today with your pain. Hopefully you will be able to rest and take care of yourself today.
